Team sports are very useful to keep teenagers healthy, encourage better performance in
schools, and give student a way to release their stress.
Firstly, team sports are a great way for teenagers to remain healthy. A player can run up to
10km when they play football, and 5km or more when they play basketball. Besides, the
exercise that high school athletes get during a game, they also practice with team sports.
Moreover, training programs also help them keep fit during the off-season.
Secondly, team sports often help motivate better performance in school. If a student’
grades are not high enough, that student will not be play sports in the following season.
Therefore, if they want to continue play sports, they need to get better grades.
Finally, playing sports help students release their stress. The fact that exercise helps
decrease a person’s level of stress in stressful lives of teenagers.
