Build your own: E-mail usage policy
In order to link the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and Word document together, a few preliminary steps are
required. After downloading and unzipping the documents, place both the EmailSource.xls Excel spreadsheet and
the EmailUsage.doc Word document in the same directory. To begin building your E-mail Usage Policy, take a
moment to fill out each tab (EUP Rules and EUP Data) in the EmailSource Excel spreadsheet. Save your data
and close the Excel spreadsheet.
You are now ready to link
the data in the EmailSource
Excel spreadsheet with the
E-mail Usage Word
Document. Double-click the
Word file and when
presented with the dialog
box indicating that this is a
mail merge document,
select the Find Data Source
button.
Browse to the EmailSource
Excel spreadsheet and
