BDNC - Unit 10: Diversification of Sentence Structures
Task 1: Use the words given to translate the following sentences into English
in at least two different ways. The words in brackets must not be changed in
any way.
1. Tôi chẳng hề ngạc nhiên khi cô ấy nhảy việc hết từ nơi này sang nơi khác.
A: I wasn't taken aback by the fact that she is a job-hopper./I was surprised
by her job-hoppering.
B: It came as no surprise to me when she is a job-hopper/she change jobs
suddenly.
2. Thứ trưởng Bộ Lao động, Thương binh và Xã hội cho biết, Bộ khơng có ý định

cùng kỳ năm trước.
A: There has been an unexpected/dramatic plummet in the real estate
market in Hanoi in the third quarter of this year. The number of apartments

mềm.
A: Sony has announced an end to producing floppy disks in Japan because

Task 2: Translate the following sentences into English using the words in
brackets without changing their forms in any way.

Task 4: Translate the following paragraphs into English. Identify similar ideas
and try to use different English structures to express them:
