Comparative adjectives
We can use comparative adjectives to compare
two people or things.
Example:
Tom is taller than Mary.
Example:
A house in a city is normally more expensive
than a house in the countryside.
* Form:
Comparative adjectives: (Cấp so sánh hơn của tính từ).
+ Có 2 loại tính từ: tính từ ngắn và tính từ dài.
- Tính từ ngắn ( short adj) là tính từ chỉ có 1 vần.
( tall/ long/ short)
- Tính từ dài( long adj) là tính từ có 2 vần trở lên.
( beautiful/ modern/ wonderful/
+ Short Adj:
S1 + be + adj-ER + than + S2.
Ex: Lan is taller than Hoa.
+ Long Adj:
S1 + be + MORE + adj + than + S2.
Ex: Lan is more beautiful than Hoa.
