My best friend’s birthday is coming soon and I have three options for the gift at the party : A
book , a T- shirt and two tickets of a new film at the cinema. I think , two tickets of a new film at the
cinema is a best choice because of the following reasons. Firstly, my best friend really enjoy
watching movie and she can spend 5 hours watching a movie that she likes. Moreover, we haven’t
been going to the cinema together for a long time so this occasion we will go to cinema together and I
think she will love this present.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose a book because she have a lot of book in her
room and she hasn’t read them all yet due to she has a lot of work to get done. . And , I don’t either
choose a T- shirt because everyone’s fashion is different, we find this beautiful but they don’t see it
beautiful. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why two tickets of a new film at the cinema is
my best choice.

going to the park , going to the concert. I think going to the cinema is the best choice because of the
following reasons. Firstly, I really enjoy watching movie because watching movie make me feel relax
and comfortable and I can spend 5 hours watching movie that I likes. Moreover, recently I feel quiet
stressed about studying and I haven’t been to the cinema for a long time so in this school holiday I will
go to cinema with my friends.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose to go to the park because there is a small park
near my house and I always exercise with my father in the park every evening. And, I don’t either
choose to go to the concert because a concert will have a lot of people and the atmosphere is close ,
people crowded together for a place, that is bad . As for me , this school holiday is an opportunity for
me to relax so I will choose something lightest. For all the reasons mentions above, that why going
to the cinema is my best choice.

I want to keep fit and I have three option: yoga, swimming and walking. These three options are
healthy but swimming is the best choice because of following reasons. First of all, the weather is
very hot so it makes sense to go swimming because I can soak in the water. Secondary, one of the most
biggest benefits of swimming is that truly works your entire body such as increases your heart rate
without stressing your body. Moreover, swimming help people improves sleep at night.
Regarding the other two options, I know that many people option to yoga due to it can decrease
stress and promote relaxation but yoga need the flexibility and patient that I can’t do it. And, I don’t
choose walking because I tried waking to keep weight in the past but it didn’t bring high efficiency.
Moreover, walking needs continuous exercise patience. For all the reasons mentions above, that why
swimming is my best choice.
4. A group of friends want to go sightseeing in your city and they do not much money. Which is
the best way: going by bus, going by bicycle, going on foot?

three options: going by bus, going by bicycle and gonging on foot. In my opinion, going by bicycle
is a best choice because of the following reasons. Firstly, The bicycle was compact, easy to move
and everyone had a bike. Moreover, Riding a bike is healthy, fun and a low-impact form of exercise.
Regarding the other two options, I know that many people option to going by bus because this
is public transport and the price is only 9000 VND. But the bus stops are often far away from the
locations here and people will have to spend a lot of time waiting for the bus. And, I don’t choose
going by foot because sightseeing in my city that are far from each other will take a long time and
cannot move many different places. For all the reasons mentions above, that why going by bicycle
is my best choice.

English course, travel abroad. What should he do?
My friend is thinking of plan for his summer holiday, among three options: have a part- time job,
take an English course and travel abroad, I suppose that have a part - time would be the best choice
because of the following reasons. Firstly, it can bring him lots of experience and suitable for him at
the moment. Secondary, he can earn money to help his family and helps him meet a lot of new friend.

Regarding the other two options, he doesn't choose to take an English course because he can learn
English in the university and his English is quite good. And, he doesn't either option to travel abroad
because his doesn't have a hobby of travelling. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why have a
part - time is his best choice.

My class want to go out for an evening together . There are three options: go to the cinema, go to
the dancing club and go to the tennis court. In my opinion, go to the dancing club is the best choice
because of the following reasons. Firstly, we have more time together to relax by music after stressful
school hours. Furthermore, we will be more connected because in class we only spend a lot of time
studying so we don’t talk a lot, lack of interaction among people. It’s good opportunity.
Regarding the other two options , I don’t choose cinema because everyone has our own favorite
movies for example my favorite movies are romantic movies but my friend likes action movies.
Moreover, when wactching movie we have to pay attention and don't talk together. And, I don’t either
choose the tennis court because everyone don’t knows how to play this sport, out of energy and people
will get tired after playing tennis. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why go to the dancing
club is the best choice.

activities are recommended: photography , sailing and drama. In my opinion, photography is a
best choice because of the following reasons. Firstly, there are many sightseeing in my area such
as: Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, The Old Quarter,…. we can take a photo to keep memories and I
make sure that it is wonderful if people revise. And, we can share those pictures for everyone to
show off the sightseeing we visit.
Regarding the other two options , I know that many people option to sailing because we
enjoy atmosphere is fresh and it is interesting sport but sometimes we have to deal with many

dangerous problems. And, I don’t choose drama because we have a lot of time to set up completely
plan and have more effort. Furthermore, sometimes we have to handle with a new people. For all
reations mentioned above, photography is the best choice.

because of the following reasons. Firstly, It is a large place which happens many activities such
as: children can play and every one can do excercise, talking, jogging,….. Second, parks can
also provide health benefits, from providing direct contact with nature and a cleaner environment,
to opportunities for physical activity and social interaction.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose a new shopping center because it is quite
expensive and people's income is not high so it is impossible. And, I don’t either choose a new
art gallery because people have a lot of work , spend many time to taking care family and there
are a variety social activities which they have to pay attention so they barely have time to go to
art gallery. Foll all reasons mentions above, a new park is the best choice.
9. Your cousin Jane is celebrating her 18th birthday and you want to buy her a present so that
she will remember the occasion. You are thinking of three presents: a wristwatch, a bottle of
perfume, and a pair of shoes. Which do you think is the best choice?

because of the following reasons. Firstly, she is a shopaholic and she loves buying shoes so she had
her own shoes collection. Moreover, she is a healthy eater and usually exercises so she will use shoes
everyday.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose a wristwatch because As far as I know, she
doesn't like to wear a watch, and doesn't wear it very often. And I don’t either choose a bottle of
perfume because I don't know exactly what kind of scent she likes. For all reasons mentions above,
a pair of shoes is the best choice.

Moreover, It's the end of summer so the T-shirt is on sale and I can buy it to give to him.

Moreover, if he want go around the city , he will wear a helmet instead of a hat. And, I don’t either

that are easy to buy can be bought online or to a store buy everyone has a different preference for
clothes such as I like T-shirts but many people like to have many pictures on them. And, I don’t
choose tennis racket because she is very busy, it takes her a long time to find a stable place to live and
a lot of new jobs she has to deal with. For all reasons mentioned above, a pair of shoes is the best
choice.

tram, bus, train, and hardly use an umbrella so i think it's not necessary. And, I don’t either choose
some CDs because she can own a smart phone to listen to music with it instead of a CD ,
inconvenient to listen to a CD. For all reasons mentioned above, a dictionary is the best choice.

The summer is coming soon and people are wondering what they should do in the upcoming time:
learning a language course, doing voluntary work or learning to play sport. In my opinion, attending
an English is a best choice because of the following reasons. Firstly, all the students in my university
are need to have B2 level of English , which is a condition for us to be in our third year so talking an
English course helps me better prepare for the test. Secondary, you know, English is necessary in our
modern life , therefore, if we learn English well, the chances of finding a job will become easier.
Regarding the other two options, I know that many people option to do voluntary work due to
it’s a great way to help the local community and it offers a chance to make new friends. And, I don’t
choose learning to play a sport because I usually walk every day, which helps me to get in better health
so I don need to learn a new one. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why buy clothes in a shop
is my best choice.

market because there are many different types of clothes for people to choose from because there are
many different stores. And, I don’t choose buy in an online shop because I can not try them on so it’s
difficult to know whether they fit me or not. Besides, all clothes online look really nice thanks to photo
shop possibly. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why learning a langue is my best choice.

staying with relatives. In my opinion, live in a university hostel is a best choice because of the
following reasons. Firstly, it is cheap to stay there. Students have to pay tuition fees, pay for food,
books and so on. So, living in the dormitory can save them a lot of money. Secondly, It is convenient to
stay there because it is close to university, students can walk there. It saves time and money.


Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose to rent a flat because it is expensive and
unsafe. And, I don’t choose stay with relatives because I think they don’t feel comfortable, they might
live far from university. Moreover,s tudent don’t have time to study. For all reasons mentioned
above, that is why living in a university hostel is my best choice.

saving in the bank?
If I won the lottery of 1 billion VND and I have three option : Buying a house? Buying gold or
saving in the bank?. In my opinion, would buy a house is a best choice because of the following
reasons. Firstly, because at the moment I have to rent a house. As for me, a stable accommodation
leads to a stable job. I feel comfortable living in my own house. I would be very proud of buying a
house for my family.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose to buy gold because I am not good at doing
business, the price of gold goes up and down I don’t know. Moreover, I am worried about where to
keep it. I think it is not a good idea to save money in the bank because the interest rate (lãi suất) is low.
Moreover, money will lose its value when we keep it in the bank because of inflation.For all reasons
mentioned above, that is why buy a house is my best choice.

school abroad in Australia; a public school near home and girted school far from home. In my
opinion, public school near my house is the best option because of the following reasons. Firstly, he
can still live with my family. Secondly, as he lives at home, my family does not have to pay for his rent
or other living costs.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose a gifted school far away from home because he
has to live on his own, can’t see the family often, he might feel homesick. And, I don’t either choose
studying abroad because I think it is not a good option because living in another country is quite
challenging for a young person like him. In short, where he goes to school, I am the one to decide
which school he will go to, I think public school is almost the best choice for him.

with a lot of real life situations. I can take part in many speaking activities. Secondly, the teachers in
the center are always the experienced teachers who know which materials are the best for the students,
they can correct the mistakes, they have good teaching methods which make students find easy to
understand.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose to join an English club because it is often noisy,
you hardly hear what other people are saying. No one corrects my mistakes.And, I don’t either choose
to talk to foreigners in public places because they are busy sightseeing, they are not willing to speak to
us. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why taking an English course is my best choice.

uniforms all week, so they don’t have to think of what to wear everyday or mix different clothes before
getting to school.
Regarding the other two options, I don’t choose wearing uniforms 2 days a week, because in
addition to 2 days of wearing uniform, students will be allowed to wear free clothes. So we will have to
think about what to wear for the next day..And, I don’t either choose no uniform at all. When students
do not wear uniforms, there is no uniformity in the school and there will be a discrimination between
rich and poor among students. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why For all reasons

goes on holidays. I don’t either choose some money because money isn’t a suitable present for a

stress after hard working hours. When I go to the supermarket with my friends and collect some items
that I like, I feel really relaxed and excited.

watching films, it is difficult to choose a film that all of us like. Singing karaoke is not my choice
because I am not good at singing. I don’t like too noisy atmosphere in karaoke bars. For all reasons

classmates much time to prepare and write essays. It is quite boring to read all of them. And, I don’t
either choose a photo book is not my choice because it is not as interesting as a class video and it is
expensive to make the photo book. For all reasons mentioned above, that is why a class video is my
best choice.

information, sometimes phone calls annoy customers. And, I don’t either choose to send emails
because many people don’t read them may consider as junk mails. For all reasons mentioned above,
that is why leaflets is my best choice.
