Hi Mary,
I’m glad to get your reply. As you know I had a party with my old friends last Saturday. It was great! We had a nice time together in a
restaurant next to a riverside.
In a cozy atmosphere, we danced, sang and drank overnight. We talked about our mutual memories when we were in high school. All
of my friends have changed a lot. I didn’t meet anyone new but one of my classmates came to talk to me. He has become much
more interesting than he used to. We had great fun.
Do you often have a party in England, Mary?
I hope to see you again soon.
Linda.

Dear penfriend,
It’s not easy to choose a present for someone but if you know your brother’s hobbies, it won’t be a problem, right? I’m also a
teenage boy and I’m keen on music, so I really love a present like a CD of my farourite band. Think about his hobbies and you’ll
surely find something that he likes.
Hope you can find your brother a good gift.
From Mark.

Hi Judy,
How are things? I miss you a lot. I’ve just been back from a trip to London. The thing that I like best is the journey back home. Do
you know who I met? - That was my favourite music band. They sat on the seats right in front of me on the plane. I could hear what
they talked about their recent tour. It was fantastic! When we got off the plane, I followed them until we got to the arrival. I said
“Hello” to them and that I really admire them and wanted to have their signatures and they said “Yes”. More surprisingly, they gave
me one of their latest CDs and we had a photo together. How happy I am!
Now I’m looking at the photo and thinking about them. It’s the most wonderful journey ever!
Please tell me about your best journey!
Love,
Anna.

Hi Jack,
I’ve just been back from a trip to Singapore, a small country famous being clean. I’ve had many trips so far but this time I was the most impressed by
the tourist guide. That guy has a good sense of humour and a from him during the trip. I wish I would be a good tourist guide like him.
Next week, I’m going to have a trip to your city with my family. I’ll call you before I get there.
Hope to see you then.
Yours,
Peter.

Hello Sally,
I’m happy to get your email and learn that you have just had a good weekend. Let me tell you about my
weekends.
I often spend time with my family. We usually go to the park at the weekend for a picnic. Sometimes we come
back to our hometown where our grandparents live.
The thing I like best about my weekends is talking to my parents. My parents are very busy during weekdays so
they don’t have much time for me. Do you like to spend time with your family?
Write to me soon!
Linda.

Hi Jane,
It’s surprising to get your email and learn that you like sports just like me. My favourite sport is badminton. I love it
because it’s easy to play and it’s not expensive to buy a set. I have a friend who likes playing badminton too, so

we can play it every afternoon.
What about you? What sport do you like?
Write to me soon.
