PART 1 – Warm up/Getting started

PART 2 – Student's Speaking Performance
- Examiners ask student to choose one favorite question or speaking task from the list below.
- Each student has 1-3 minutes to prepare the answer to one of the following questions and she/he is
expected to speak in 2 or 3 minutes on the chosen topic/task.

Suggested questions:

Topic 2: Tourism: Can you talk about some negative effects of tourism on a region or
country?

Topic 3: Your Travelling
Suggested questions:
- What is the place you like travelling to the most?
- What do you usually do there?
- Do you like travelling to other countries? Why/Why not?
- What country do you want to travel to? Why?
- Some people think that tourism can have bad effects on the place. Do you agree?
Topic 4: Cooking

Can you talk about some ways to cook the food?

Topic 5: Eating habits
- Can you talk about your eating habits or your family’s eating habits?
Topic 6: The changing roles of males and females in the future
- Can you make some predictions about the changing roles of males and females in

the future?
Topic 7: Uses of English in your daily life
- What do you use English for?
(Suggestion: You can talk about at least four uses of English in your daily life and give
an explanation/example for each of them)
Topic 8: Your neighborhood
Suggested questions:
- Where do you live (in the city/town/village)?
- How long have you been living there?
- What was it like when you first moved there/when you were small?
- What are the people living in your place like?
- What changes have you seen in your neighborhood?
Topic 9: Your favourite place to travel

- If you could visit one city in the world, what city would you like to see?

- When and How did you go there?
- What did you do there? With whom?
- Did you like the experience? Why (not)?
Topic 12: Tips for learning English

- Can you talk about some ways to learn English well?
