“TRY YOUR BEST”-THE GREATEST ADVICE
First, I'll talk about my story's circumstances. Perhaps like others, it is difficult to determine the
profession that you want to do and choosing the desired university is also a difficult decision. After the
National High School exam, my mark was not as expected. In fact, we have to be one of three types of
people: the good, the rich, or the both. Of course I'm not one of those people and it took me a month or
two to think about whether I should choose a school with fairly poor quality, low tuition or a good school
with very high tuition like private school as the last school to choose. It won't be a problem if my family is
well off but my family has normal conditions. In the end, I had to discuss with my father.
When I told my father about my problem, he also thought a lot and finally made the decision to choose a
private school and I feel sorry for him and my family. But he told me: "try your best!", and then he said
that I should also study well and practice my skills a lot because where the diploma is doesn't decide the
future, bear with it in advance so that I don't have to regret it in the future instead of procrastinating and
regretting my choice. He also said that the major I chose was more suitable for that university.
Fortunately, we have the same opinion.
And of course, I gained more confidence and made better decisions. I don't need to worry much about it,
I also have faith and try to improve myself more to study well and help my future. I promised with my
father and I will always try and repay my family as soon as possible in the present and in the future. Now,
he helps me think more freely and concentrate on improving my mindset and opening my own path.
So that is my story, that advice helped me a lot and i still hope it will stay with me all the way in the
future.
