1. If the movement of the bottom pulley is anticlockwise,

In pulley systems, the diameter of the pulleys is very
important. In pulley system in Figure 2.5, the diameter
of the top pulley is 20 cm and the diameter of the
bottom pulley is 10 cm.
If the speed of the top pulley is 100 revolutions per
minute (100 rev/min), the speed of the bottom pulley is
200 rev/ min.
