“Let’s go fishing!” says Bonk.
Jupe, Uzzle, and Snag dig for worms.
They find their fishing poles.
The pond is a long hike away.
Snag’s tummy grumbles.
“I can’t wait to eat the fish we catch,”
he says.

Snag’s tummy grumbles.
He reels in his line.
“I can’t wait to eat the fish we catch,”
“A shoe!” says Bonk.

“What did you catch?” asks Uzzle.

“Wait!” says Lurk.
“I think I have a fish.”
He reels in his line.
“I caught a salad!” Lurk says.
“That’s not a salad,” says Jupe.
“Those are weeds from the pond.”

“Wait!” says Lurk.
“I think I have a fish.”
Next, Snag catches a tin can.
He reels in his line.
Uzzle catches a rusty bucket.
Lurk’s tummy grumbles, too.
“I caught a salad!” Lurk says.
“I’m hungry,” he says.
“That’s not a salad,” says Jupe.
“You are ALWAYS hungry,” says Snag.
“Those are weeds from the pond.”

The air is hot.
Flies buzz all around them.
“Fishing is kind of boring,” says Uzzle.
Just then, Bonk feels a tug.
“I have a bite,” he says.
He feels another tug.
Bonk catches a fish!

“Fishing is kind of boring,” says Uzzle.
The fish flops and wiggles on the grass.
“He’ll be good to eat,” says Bonk.
Just then, Bonk feels a tug.
Jupe looks at the fish.
“I have a bite,” he says.
He feels another tug.
Uzzle sniffs.
Bonk catches a fish!
Lurk stares at the ground.

“What’s the matter?” asks Bonk.
“I ’m not hungry for fish anymore,”
says Snag.
“Let’s let him go,” says Lurk.
Bonk puts the fish back in the water.
It swims away.

The monsters eat until they are full.

says Lurk.
“D o you know what I like best?”
