Placard Bird

This charming place card holder can be used to decorate
a table setting. Placard Bird, with its wings outstretched,
greets each of your guests personally. It’s perfect for a
child’s birthday party.

PAPER: Make the model from a 4-inch square using the
designated folding paper included in the back of the book
on page 101. (See the instructions under the subheading
“Other Supplies” in Chapter 1 to learn how to make a
4-inch square from an 8-inch square.) You can also use a
5½-inch square of medium weight bond paper.

1 Fold the bottom corner to

position shown in the next
step.

5 Fold the right corner to
the indicated point on the
center vertical crease. Fold
the left corner to the same
indicated point on the center
vertical crease.
