PROSPECTIVE DOCENTS are expected to become members of Telfair Museums, to complete
the docent training program as outlined, consent to and complete paperwork for a
background check, and to serve as active docents for at least two years after graduating.
Docents are asked to deliver tours, attend scheduled docent training/gallery walkthroughs
and serve as enthusiastic public representatives of the museum.
