Informants
Informants for AET compliance checks were recruited by the AET Coordinator and participating
law enforcement agencies. Each informant completed an Undercover Confidential Informant
(UCI) packet which includes a photograph and a copy of the informant’s driver’s license. Some
law enforcement agencies required additional documentation. Informants were trained to tell the
truth when asked questions and to show their own ID but otherwise not to initiate any interaction
with the clerks/servers. Informants received a $30 gift card from Anderson Oconee Behavioral

Health Services for their efforts.
