very clean and fresh. Since industrial development, the
environment has changed. Currently, the capital Hanoi is
one of the heavily polluted cities in Asia.

heavily polluted for a long time.
Especially, fine dust pollution is
discharged from constructions that
seriously affect human health.

the city is at red alert.

• Water pollution:
Hanoi has a large and very polluted domestic wastewater. Most
industrial facilities discharge waste water directly into the
drainage rivers such as To Lich River, Kim Nguu River and the
city's ditch. The most recent is the discharge of industrial oil to
the upstream of the Da River, leaving people living in Thanh
Xuan and Hoang Mai districts no longer have water to live. The
pollutants in the water increase, the clean water source shows

many people are suffering from noise
pollution surrounded from all sides. Not

only car horns, noise from constructions,
loud noise emanating from speakers of
karaoke shops, phone shops. Long-term
noise can cause people to lose
productivity, especially intellectual labor,
which can increase breathing rate, heart
rate, blood pressure, fatigue, insomnia,
impaired hearing function.

• The cause of environmental pollution is
mainly caused by human activities. Besides,
there are also some other activities of nature
that affect the environment. Specifically, there
are 4 causes of environmental pollution:

chemicals.

We are lots of small things we can do
to help the enviroment like:
- the first, we turn off lights, the TV,
and other applicanes when we are not
using them; lower air conditioning or
heat when it’s not necessary.
- the second, we use reusable bags
instead of plastic bags and use
recycled items.
