For centuries, poets, writers and musicians have mentioned the ao dai in poems, novels and songs. The ao dai is
Vietnam’s iconic traditional dress symbolizing beauty, elegance, and Vietnamese identity. The modern ao dai is a tightfitting long silk dress with long sleeves, worn over long loose pants which may reach the floor.
