Part 2: Solution Disscussion (4’)
Situation: The best way to market a new product: on Internet, on TV, in
newspapers. Which places do you think is the best choice for them?
As you know, to bring to the market a new product, there are many different
forms such as on the Internet, on TV and in newspapers.
First, I think newspaper advertising is the cheapest form of advertising.
However, this form often has little access to customers and is not suitable for
young people.
Next, TV advertising is considered one of the most effective forms of
advertising today. Its advantage is the wide transmission range and attract
many viewers. However, it costs a lot of money and has to be screened many
times.
So I think the best option to advertise a new product is on the Internet.
In my opinion, in the current information technology era, everyone uses social
networks, so it is easy to reach customers.

In conclusion, advertising new products on the Internet is my best choice.

Situation: The best present for a friend working for a travel magazine: a
suitcase, a lamp, a pen. What do you think is the best choice for them?
1. I'm planning my friend's upcoming present. I wondered what to buy: a
suitcase, a lamp, a pen.
2. At first, I thought of the pen, because it is very suitable for her work. But I
remember she already owns a lot of pens.
Then I think I can change. I can buy a suitcase, it helps to carry documents and
laptop for the trip. However, I don't have enough money for this at the
moment.
3. So I decided to prepare the present of a lamp.
4. With his current job, he often has to stay up at night. The lamp helps to
illuminate the working base and also serves as a decoration on the table.
5. In conclusion, I will prepare the lamp as a gift for my best friend. It's the
best choice, I think so.

Part 3: Topic Development
Test 1:
Firstly, it offers a flexible
travelling mode. Passengers
might enjoy deep discounts on
undersold flights, or they can
have good deals on early
booking. Second, cheap flights
could reduce travelling costs. In
some cases, passengers can save
up to 70% of costs with flexible

travel time and destinations.
Finally, cheap flights also helps
boost world travel because visitors can take advantage of low-budget flights
which help them minimize cost-related problems on travel. In conclusion,
cheap air travel should be enhanced because of its benefits.
1. I completely agree that governments should encourage cheap flight because
this is a good way to improve remote areas, increase employment and develop
country's economy.
2. Although cheap flights are beneficial, there may be problems with this kind
of travel such as extra costs for baggage and on-flight meals, small seats and
limited legroom, low safety and nonrefundability.
3. In my opinion, cheap air tickets should be offered on domestic flights
because it can increase local trade, develop tourism nationwide and offer
flexible transport modes. However, it also can be offered on international
flights because it can promote world travel and increase international trade.
Test 2:
I think that music should be
taught to students in schools
because of some reasons. In
conclusion, teaching music in
schools brings a lot of

benefits to students, so it is necessary to enhance this practice for the sake of
the students. 1 First, music can be relaxing. It is clear that music at school can
help reduce stress and entertain students. For example, soothing music can
help students relax and keep calm. 2 Second, studying music can help students
improve their memory because the skill of memorizing music tunes can help
them study well. 3 Moreover, music can help develop students' imagination
and creativity. A student good at music is proved to be better at creating new

things. 4 Finally, music can make students have positive attitudes toward the
world. Students of music usually have an optimistic thought about their
future.
1. I absolutely agree that children should be encouraged to learn music early
because children can feel the sense of achievement. When studying music,
they will keep interested and engaged in school and learn to think creatively.
2. In my opinion, music can change people's moods or feelings. For example,
soothing music can calm feelings, or stimulating music can wake up feelings.
3. If life was without music, it could fail to enrich people's inner life and soul,
and it cannot release the sense of emotional freedom.

There are several ways for people
to make friends. The first way is to
join social events. For example,
people can take part in annual

work. In free time, people should
attend shows, exhibitions, fairs or
charity events. Second, to make
friends, people should form
interest-based group. It means that people can participate in groups which
share the same interests such as sports clubs, cooking clubs, reading or art
clubs, and so on. Moreover, attending parties is also another way to make
friends. Parties like weeding receptions, anniversaries or company parties
usually brings chances to meet new people. Finally, people can do
volunteering jobs, or take part in social network sites, or traveling. In
conclusion, it is easy to make friends if one person follows these above ways.

1. In my opinion, people can trust online friends if they have frequent

communication together. Moreover, people should track down friends'
profiles or uploaded messages.
2. To have a true friendship, people should have common interests so that
they can easily share ideas together. They should be good listeners and
respect each other.
3. In my opinion, both family and friends are important. In fact, family
members are close by nature and friends are close by interests or personality.
Both family and friendship bring happiness and give a sense of love, joy, and
laughter. However, family ties tend to be longer and more reassuring.

Test 4:
More recycling centers should be built in communities because they bring a
lot of benefits. The first good point of recycling center is to reduce the size of
landfills. Building a recycling center can cut down the amount of rubbish that
goes to landfills. Second, a recycling center can help utilize waste products. It
can help keep and reuse waste that would be lost to landfill sites. And it can
cut down the cost and effort of transport and production. Moreover, recycling
centers can offer employment opportunities. There are more jobs such as
waste collecting, transporting, sorting and reprocessing. Finally, it is good to
build recycling centers because this can deal with climate change and reduce
greenhouse gas emissions. In conclusion, establishing recycling factories is
very necessary for communities.
2. Yes, I always try to recycles
things as part of my everyday

life. For example, I cut down on disposable products, use more reusable items,
sort trash or save energy.
3. I absolutely agree that everyone should reuse and recycle products because
it is to protect the environment in the long term. Moreover, if people do that,

they can increase environmental responsibility. It can help reduce levels of
pollution and tackle some causes of global warming.

Past 5:
There are several factors
that lead to success in life.
The first reason for a
person to be successful is
to have education and
skills.

to fulfill tasks and see things done as a whole plan.

In conclusion, success can be achieved if a person makes effort to improve
these above factors.
1. Money is the most common way of judging success because …..
2. My idea of success is not the same as my parents' idea of success. In my
opinion, I think success should be achieved at a very young age.
However, my parents think that success can be a state of being selfsatisfied and measured by things done for communities rather than for
individuals. I think that luck plays a part in success because.

to review the lessons and get ready for the class the next day. However, I love my
job because I have lots of chances to practice speaking English with the customers. I
believe that I can improve my spoken English so much. However, I don’t like my
boss because he’s too strict.
I was living with an English family, bu I didn’t get on very well with them. Therefore,
now I’m sharing a flat with 4 French students. We have a lot of fun together, but I’m

I’m afraid I won’t be able to get away this spring as I have to visit my grandparents
in Central VietNam then. What about a trip to Ha Noi, the capital city of VN next

Part 2.1: Moving from job to job
Does the constant change of jobs affect your career? There's a lot of
controversy about this, but moving from job to job has long been seen as a
way to destroy job opportunities. It is often referred to as "occupational
suicide". This essay will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of moving from
job to job.
We have to admit that job hopping is really helpful in some cases. Let's take a
look at some of the benefits of job hopping. Job hopping offers more
experience. If you change jobs every few years, you will learn a lot from

businesses. Then apply them to new job, you can have a lot of creative and
appreciated ideas. Job hopping helps expand your network. The more
companies you work for, the wider your relationship will be. Having multiple
social connections gives you a lot of growth potential - expanding your list of
potential customers, partners and more.

However, besides the advantages, job hopping also brings some
disadvantages. Job hopping affects your profile information. Imagine you are a
recruiter. Do you invest in career development for someone who changes jobs
every year? Of course not. If you change jobs frequently, you may be
considered a risk factor. Job hopping makes people question your
qualifications and skills. Employers want employees in the company who are
reliable and have the initiative to learn and hone their skills, not just a person
who has difficulties. This is especially true in the case of an employee who
jumps between jobs continuously and in many different fields. For example,
he initially worked for a year in the information technology industry, then
worked another year in a construction company. After that, he quit his job and
moved into the hotel industry. This not only shows the employee's lack of
commitment, but also makes him untrustworthy in the eyes of the employer.
In conclusion, there are always both positives and negatives of changing job
too often. However, it depends on the personal opinion as well as the
circumstances of each person that make the right decision.

Part 2.2: Poverty
The country is in a period of renewal and development, but poverty is still
present in the society. This article will give the reasons and solutions to this
problem.
The causes of poverty are diverse, the first of which is history. Starting from a
backward agricultural country, poverty cannot be eliminated overnight. Next,

the fierce wars in history whose consequences are not only poverty but also
the unhappy lives of many people disabled due to war. Moreover, the impact
of economic crises in recent years has greatly increased the number of people
living in poverty. Tens of millions of workers are unemployed, farmers have
lost their land, live in poverty and destitute. The impact of epidemics, natural
disasters, floods and earthquakes... also reduced the economies of many
countries. For example, the covid-19 pandemic in the past time has caused
damage to human life and property.

So, what are the measures that contribute to poverty alleviation? Invest in
education reform and vocational training. Today, knowledge plays a key role
in the process of innovation and comprehensive socio-economic development.
Investing in infrastructure, rural infrastructure. To help the poor rural areas,
mountainous areas, remote seas and islands change their appearance,
investment in infrastructure is the focus.
In conclusion, with the meanings analyzed above, in the current period,
affection, attitude and concern for poverty are the quality, conscience and
measure of the value of each of us.
