Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: “Children should begin
learning a foreign language as soon as they start school.”?
Write an essay ( about 250 to 300 words) to express your point of view. 

Nowadays, language plays an important way to communicate in our life. It’s
believed that the best time to learn a foreign language is at an early age.
Therefore, some people think it can pressure the children when they start
learning a language. I disagree with that statement because of some reason.
Firstly, in a fact that a kid has a great ability to learn a language. Why? Due
to all the kid’s activities showing us that children are naive, they do not
think much about life and the world, so they can remember all the new
words quickly by watching videos, cartoons on YouTube, looking at
some colorful pictures, or joining some funny game. We can also see
from children is that they can imitate easily. When they observe
someone, they will want to repeat the action perfectly. And so, when
learning a language, they can hear and then repeat words and
sentences effectively. Secondly, learning a language broadens
children’s vision, improves some social skills, and teaches them many
new cultures. For example, If a kid talks with a foreigner, They won’t
care much about grammar or expressions right or not, so they can make
themself more confident and improve many social skills. And I think that
is a good chance!
In summary, learning a language at an early age is very
helpful and important. It’s a good way to open the mind.
