SUMMARY OF NEW CONCLUSIONS OF THE THESIS
Selecting a classification system of Takhtajan (1997) with additional Su Jun-Xia Su et
al (2012) to arrange taxa of the Man man family in Vietnam include 2 subfamily, 4
tribus, 6 genera, 49 species, 4 subspecies and 2 varietas.
Building the keys and provide enough information for the taxa (mostly genera and
species) of the Man man family in Vietnam include: name, documents citations,
morphological characteristics, specimens examined, biology and ecology, distribution,
drawings, color photo illustrations. Some taxa repair, revise and comment.
Used pollen and seed morphology to additional characteristics of some taxa belonging
to Man man family: the pollen morphology of 24 species, 4 genera and the seed
morphology 18 species, 4 genera.
Additional some new taxa of Man man family for the flora of Vietnam including 1
new species; 1 species and 1 subspecies as new records for the flora of Vietnam.
Confirmed the presence of two species and one subspecies doubt in the document
published abroad and in Vietnam. One genera, 6 species and 1 varietas are endemic in
Vietnam.
Building diagram close relationship between 6 genera of Man man family
(Capparaceae Juss.) in Vietnam. Of which, Stixis close relationship with Tirania.


Crateva, Capparis, Maerua, Cleome have close relationships with other genera do not
have in Vietnam.
Synthesis and evaluation of the use value of species of Man man family in Vietnam.
There are 5 genera, 25 species of Man man family used as medicine, food (vegetables,
fruit), ornamental, timber and use some other value.
