Question: The use of illegal drugs, such as heroin and cocaine, are becoming more and
more common in many countries. What are some of the problems associated with drug
abuse, and what are some of the possible solutions?
It is argued that abusing drugs pose a serious threat to numerous countries. In this essay, I will
suggest several phenomenons and recommend some solutions for this problems.
On of the major issues is that the number of criminal activities increased significantly. To
elaborate on it, most criminals tend to break the laws while they are addicted or under the
influence of heroin or cocaine, which negatively affects the country’s economy and productivity
rate. Consequently, education is the main way to tackle this issue. For example, schools might
educate teenagers and children about the drawbacks of illegal drugs impact on people, leading to
more and more avoidance consumption of these drugs. This is because the awareness of
students is raised by ethic subjects.
Another problems related to the usage of illegal drugs is mental and physical health issues. That
is to say, adult need heroin to make restriction of headache matter but unless they stop to abuse
this drug, they are able to become crazy and irrational and often cause harm and danger to
themselves and others. For instance, If drivers are addicted, they can cause accidents when
driving. To solve this problems, government should put strict rules to prohibit the consumption of
the illegal products such as high taxes could be imposed on them. In other words, governments
can implement severe punishments for offenders who sells and consumes illegal drugs. These
solutions can assist society to be safer.
In conclusion, illegal drugs bring many issues for human life such as the growth of crime and
addiction. To tackle these problems, there are a lot of ways in terms of education and serious
laws.
