MID-TERM PROJECT: PORTFOLIO

REASONS FOR GROUPING
There is much to talk about
regarding why we formed this
group.
The
first
is
the
necessity, in this subject we
are required to find other
members and form a group to
be able to do the project. So of

course we had to find a group
five members to be able to
complete this exercise and
qualified to graduate on time.
Secondly, we are both second and third year students, so the ability
to communicate and find new groups is not too difficult for us.
Finally, We are all progressive people, always want to be better,
always care about the habits that happen every day because it
affects both our physical and mental health. In particular, we are
also very interested in how to spend money reasonably to help us
not be constrained in money matters. That is what led us to form this
group and we believe that we will do our best to complete this
project.

REASONS FOR CHOOSING THE TOPIC
Daily routine play an important role in life, it helps us to have a
specific timetable, arrange a more reasonable time to help
ourselves always towards more positive things. Besides, today
money is also very valuable and plays an important r ole in modern
life. Therefore, each person needs to spend money more rationally
and do not let money control themselves.
Realizing that, our group decided to choose two topics that are
“daily routine” and “Money spending”.

// GROUP 14

MID-TERM PROJECT: PORTFOLIO

OUT COME

From 5 people with different personalities, different interests, and different
thoughts, we have come together to complete an English group exercise in
the past 4 weeks. This is the first time that the 5 of us have been able to work
and study together and make a complete big exercise. Everyone has their own
interests and ideas,but
through meetings and
sitting together, we
came up with a lot of
different topicsbut in
the end, we agreed on
2 topics that are “Daily
routine” and “Money
spending”. Although the
members of the group
did not understand
each other in the early
days, the more we
worked together, the
more we understood our teammates, knew more about our friends'
personalities and interests, and the more we learned from each other.Become
closer to each other. Each of us has our own strengths and weaknesses, but
after working together we have overcome our own weaknesses to complete
this English exercise well. We worked together to put the group's interests
first, implementing measures to work together for the best.
So after 4 weeks our group work is also done, we are very proud of this
combined project. Our topic still has many shortcomings that need to be
improved. I hope that the teachers will give suggestions to improve our
group's topic so that our passion for learning English will be more.
EFFICIENCY
In order to achieve the set goals, our

group held meetings to collect the
opinions of group members. Meetings
are held online to divide work for each
member on a voluntary basis. Leader
Anh Tuyet have commented on the
content as well as given an appropriate
deadline for each item. After submitting

// GROUP 14

MID-TERM PROJECT: PORTFOLIO

the first draft we got together to discuss the mistakes that each individual
made. The division of work into small items makes it easy for us to complete
quickly. Besides, our group also encountered some problems in finding articles
that match the requirements and limited vocabulary. Working together as a
team for the first time, there are many disagreements. However, we also find
solutions to overcome those difficulties to bring out the best products.

ACHIEVEMENT
After more than 4 weeks of
working together, our group has
completed the English 2 project
with two topics “Daily routine”
and “Money spending”. After
meetings to organize and plan,
we have learned to better
understand the working style of
each individual in the group,

knowing what their strengths and
weaknesses are. Teamwork is a
huge opportunity when a complex
problem is raised. It helps each
individual contribute their own
ideas, forcing the team members
themselves to always work hard
for the ultimate goal set for the benefit of the team. Looking at the problem
from an individual perspective in a team with countless different perspectives,
thereby creating diversity and creativity in the content to work. Even when
there is too much work, our leader always assigns fairly to reduce work
pressure. Communication skills and understanding improved after this project.
Doing this project, we have been practicing our skills in finding documents
and presenting them on learning tools. A team project has been completed,
we are proud of that. It is a project that our whole team put all our efforts to
complete perfectly. If there are shortcomings, we hope you can give us
suggestions and corrections for the group exercise to make it better.

I N TR O D U CTI O N
English is an important subject in the
university program, as well as a necessary
knowledge in life. For effective learning,
besides listening, reading and speaking
skills, writing major assignment is also
important. Grasping that, our group has
been trying very hard and dedicated to

completing the assignment in the best way.
When we were asked to do a project, we
all had the same thought that we had to do
something groundbreaking and challenging.
Similar people have come together to create
this group. With the desire to enrich the
understanding of myself and other students,
we choose 2 topics of “Daily routine” and
“Money spending”. These two topics are
very practical in life, it helps us to better
understand the value of money and how to
implement good daily habits. So it is quite
helpful for students.
The following is my group's presentation,
the article still has many shortcomings, we
hope to receive your advice.

7 Small Joys You Should Make Sure to Add

to Your Daily Routine in 2022
1. Savor your
favorite morning
beverage.
Something
like
80
percent of the world
imbibes some form of
caffeine
every
day.
Maybe that's you, or
maybe you prefer herbal
tea or even just water.
Whatever it is, that first
drink of a hot (or cold)
beverage each day is a
small
but
definite
pleasure for most of us.
Take just a few moments
and just be in the
moment--don't
rush
through
that
small
pleasure. Even if it's just

for a few seconds, pause,
sip, and ease yourself
into the day. Of course, if
you can take a few
minutes to sit down and
really enjoy your drink,
that's even better.

2. Get outdoo.
Not all climates or all kinds of
weather are conducive to
spending time outside, but if
you can spend a little time
outdoors each day, try to do
that.
Getting
outdoors,
whether
you're
walking,
running, biking, or just sitting
on your own porch, is a small
joy for most people. That can
be true even if you only do it
for a few minutes before
going back inside out of the
cold. Going outside literally
widens our perspective, too,
helping us take things more in
stride. It works even better if

you can visit a park or
anyplace else where there's
nature.

3.Talk with someone
you care about.
Research
shows
that
loneliness and isolation are
so bad for you they can
literally take years off your
life. And that spending time
with someone you care
about,
or
at
least
communicating
with
someone you care about, is
one of the most powerful
methods there is for feeling
better. So even if you live
alone, or are so busy that you
and the others in your
household barely see each
other, make sure to reach out
to someone you care about at
least once a day. It could be

by text or phone or video
chat or some other method. It
doesn't have to be in person.
But the more you can make a
real connection, the more joy
you
may
feel.

4. Take a nap.
Napping isn't for everyone.
And a lengthy nap can
leave you with sleep inertia,
a.k.a. grogginess. But a
brief nap of 10 to 30
minutes can improve your
mental function, memory,
and problem-solving ability
as well as improve your
mood. It's absolutely worth
building in those few
minutes of naptime into the
day if you can.

5. Read a good book.
There's
evidence
that
reading books provides an

amazing host of health and
brain benefits, including
possibly
increased
longevity. That's a really
good reason to do it. The
important thing is to pick a
book that may or may not be
what others consider a good
book. Pick something you
yourself will enjoy reading.
The kind of book you look
forward to diving into and
hate to set down. It might be
a mystery novel, a romance,
science fiction, true crime,
or something entirely other.
Whatever it is, make sure it
brings you joy and if it
doesn't,
give
yourself
permission to set it áide and
choose a differen book.

6.Laugh
Laughing is really good for
you. So, every day, try to
find something to at least
make you chuckle. If you

don't know of anything, ask
your friends to send you
funny YouTubes and jokes,
or invest in a subscription
to the Funny Times. Or try
laughing yoga, in which
people get together and just
start laughing, until the
strangeness of doing so
catches up with them, and
they start guffawing for
real.
