Option 3: Ask a group of pupil to play
Matching game with the target vocabulary.
Have pupils open the books and look
at Unit 6, Lesson 1 p. 26, saying Open the

books and look at Unit 3, Lesson 1 (page 26).

1. Listen and repeat. 10 minutes
Step 1: Open books or access hoclieu.vn. Have
pupils look at the picture, saying Look at the
picture, please! and describe the picture.
Draw pupils’ attention to the words next to the
things/colour and the colour of the letter E/e
(as mentioned in Input in Teacher’s guide).
Step 2: Check comprehension.
Ask pupils to point to the letter E/e, saying
Point to the letter E/e, please! Have them
listen and repeat the sound of the letter E/e,

once, if necessary.

pupils give wrong answers, let them listen
