Considering the piling procedure is a common and
single activity, Lot-4 is requested to share the
work plan for each specific structure when the
piling work to be carried out in different condition
of ground level.

Chimney area the working plan was mention in
VP1-O-L4-C-UHN-10054 Working plan of
excavation works for Chimney

Lot 4

For the other area piling working plan will be
done at the current ground level (G.L EL+6.1m).

The casing is applied for proper depth to prevent
the collapsing of the soft and loose soil/sand
layer of the hole.

- Please explain why the auger could not be in the
slurry?
- Recommend the auger inside grout milk from
0.5m~1m in case have underground water in the

borehole to avoid mix grout with water.

Clarify code/standard for this requirement

The frequency of MT test will be clarified and
described in ITP for permanent piling work.

Testing for lateral and tension forces need to be
added as required by PIII-2 Exh B1 8.8.2.

Design loading capacity of piles had been
verified pursuant to Clause 8.8.2 [Technical
specification]. Corresponding plan had informed
to client through VP1-0-L4-C-GEN-00020 and
the result of test reported though VP1-0-L4-GEN1005, 53&54 . The working load will be verified
by PDA or compression test. Contractor would
like to verify the integrity of working pile using
PDA.

Clarify frequency of test pile according to applied
standard.

The frequency will be clarified and described in
ITP for permanent piling work.

We will make evaluation of PDA test compared
with static loading test when get the results and

Drop height of 2m and 2.5m are commonly
applied. After PDA any test to determine integrity
of piles???

The drop height depend on the hammer which

will be used. The calcuation of drop height will be
added in Rev.B. During PDA test, the intergrity of
test pile will be checked.

Please detail how many steel plates should be
provided for the piling machine movement on the
site to prevent overturning for subcontractor
implementation.

We will use 4 pieces steel plates that will be used
to spread on road to stabilize the auger machine
and crane.

Open holes from all the piles which are driven
down are potential hazards and are the traps on
the site. it should be covered by stable steel nets.

Please detail the countermeasure clearly against
this hazards for site implementation.

In case of the Open holes from all the piles which

steel nets (square wire mesh d10a150 and wider
than hole diameter 20cm) to cover open hole and
set up barricade with signage installed around
the hole
