A. INTRODUCTION
In assignment 1 I have presented the process of forming my team as well as the activities we have
done to implement the project "Shopping Paradise of all Customers" for students at Greenwich
University. The skills that we have researched and used, and evaluated ourselves through this project
shows us our strengths weakness, thereby giving evidence to the members that can develop more
together in the future.
In assignment 2 I will go into a bit of depth in discussing the behavioural relationship of members and
how Team Dynamic has a great impact on the success of the project “Shopping Paradise of all
Customers”. Not only that, this report will go deeper in exploring the factors for personal growth by
setting long-term as well as short-term goals for yourself and detailing more when making a personal
development plan. This report also deals with CDP, in order to show us clearly a developmental
process and the outcome if we contiually maintain our self-development.
B. DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF TEAM DYNAMICS IN THE SUCCESS AND/OR
FAILURE OF GROUP WORK (P5)
I. Definition of team dynamics
Team dynamics are the unconscious, psychological forces that influence the direction of a team’s
behaviour and performance. They are like undercurrents in the sea, which can carry boats in a
different direction to the one they intend to sail. Team dynamics are created by the nature of the
team’s work, the personalities within the team, their working relationships with other people, and the
environment in which the team works.
Team dynamics can be good - for example, when they improve overall team performance and/or get
the best out of individual team members. They can also be bad - for example, when they cause
unproductive conflict, demotivation, and prevent the team from achieving its goals.
In order to understand why companies should prioritize positive team dynamics, we need to dive into
the importance of what happens when these team dynamics are present. When teams work well
together (and workplaces are collaborative), both team performance and individual performance
improves, and employees are more than 50% more effective at completing tasks. Not only that, but
studies show that executives find that collaboration can lead to powerful “new business
opportunities,” and can spur innovation in their organizations. These positive team dynamics can also
lead to better employee retention, improved cost-effectiveness, and even better customer loyalty.
Figure 1. Team dynamics illustration
II. The importance of team dynamics in the successs and/or failure of group work
Improving team dynamics is worth the time and effort needed, bringing quite a few benefits to a
company’s operation. It might seem to some that a team works together by definition, but the
characteristics of poor team dynamics are clearly avoidable:
Weak Leadership – leads to a lack of direction, a focus on the wrong priorities.
Deference to Authority – members agree with leaders and don’t share own opinions.
Blocking – members disrupt, characters like The Aggressor (outspoken), The Negator (criticises
ideas) and The Joker (inappropriately humourous).
Groupthink – seeks consensus and doesn’t explore alternatives.
Freeriding – some members leave colleagues to do the work.
Evaluation Apprehension – members feel they’re being judged by others.
Positive team dynamics can bring a lot of benefits to your operation, not least because it is the surest
way of leveraging the full potential of your employees via their skills and experience.
Improved Results – a team operating to its fullest potential is naturally going to get better results.
They are more focused, clearer on their aims, and work better together.
Greater Collaboration – greater levels of cooperation and collaboration are possible when teams
work in a more informal and supportive atmosphere.
Faster Decision-Making – team members are more willing to listen to each other and so make
faster decisions.
Greater Commitment – individual team members feel more valued. The pay back is greater
commitment and loyalty from workers.

Failor factor
During working time, each member missing information about the teacher, or leader, which makes the
group don’t have enough information to work and discuss.
Weak communication is also a reason, most members will be shy when they work the first time, they
don’t know what should they talk about and they keep quiet in a long time.
Language, clearly this is an important reason, even if a group can communicate well and doesn’t lose
focus on the course, language is a bigger barrier to completing the project.
C. WORK WITHIN A TEAM TO CHIVE A DEFINED GOAL (P6)
I. Introduction of my group work
Our group was founded by Professional Practice (1620) courses and a project called “Shopping
paradise for customers” which developed advertising skills for students at the University of Greenwich
VietNam. Our group is named “Buda” this name is for the leader and each member set it. Our group
have 4 members including me (Quang Minh), Hoang Nam, Quoc Trung and Nhu Quynh.
“I believe myself a person who is good at coding and maintaining technical problems so our group
decided I was a technical manager for the group. Quoc Trung, is an event organizer who has a lot of
energy, he gets inspire us to finish the work and arrange suitable roles for everyone. He helped me to
find locations and agendas. Nhu Quynh, she pretty quiet with other people, but he has a lot of
experience and knowledge to save people, this is the reason, why we choose her, which is Health &
Safety officer, the image position of the team. Hoang Nam who has good communicative skills, is a
perfect skill to be an event manager, if we has difficulties, we will help each other.
Figure 3. My group photo
II. My role in the group work
As I said, I’m a technical manager. The role of a technical manager is a hybrid role that focuses on
leading a team and working hands-on with projects involving technology. The technical manager
oversees a company's computer and information systems to keep everything running and may make
improvements to systems as needed. Technical managers handle the overall success of a company's
computer systems among their varied duties. Some of their responsibilities typically can include:
Maintaining and developing computer systems
Monitoring the security of computer systems
Hiring and leading an information technology team
Delegating tasks and conducting performance reviews
Coordinating with other managers
Installing software and training employees to use new programs
Creating and leading computer system projects
Running performance checks on current systems
Creating standardized procedures and producing reports
Creating and following schedules and budgets
Figure 4. Technical manager illustration
III. Result of group work
Our group came up with this reflection to set improvement goals after spending some time working
together to construct the "Shopping paradise for customers" project. We now have crucial knowledge
for my future job thanks to teamwork. Since I had never imagined myself to be a technical manager, I
really encountered several challenges right away. Since my expertise was insufficient, my group
provided the majority of the support. But with time, I get a better understanding of the management
and the qualities that a leader must possess, which is enabling me to succeed with the project so far. In
conclusion, I made this project get a bit difficult in the beginning, but in the end, the result was be a
success.
D. DISCUSS THE IMPORTANCE OF CDP AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO OWN LEARNING
(P7)
I. Definition of CDP
A customer data platform (CDP) is packaged software that creates a comprehensive customer database
accessible by other systems to analyze, track, and manage customer interactions.
You may be asking yourself, “Why do you need a customer data platform?” There’s not just one reason
why a CDP is important. A customer data platform serves three purposes.
1 Collect and unify all first-party data
Many of the systems—such as email, analytics, CRM, ecommerce, and social sites—that marketers use
operate in silos and don’t pass data back and forth. It’s hard to get a complete picture, and even harder
to analyze what you’re looking at. The purpose of a customer data platform is to eliminate those issues
by connecting all the tools that marketers use and acting as a single source of truth for first-party
customer data.
2 Customer data management
CDPs manage first-party data and consumer privacy and data rights by controlling the data flows
between different marketing systems and managing consent. This is the world of GDPR and data
privacy; your business needs to actively manage, and document that management of, consent and data
flows.
3 Customer data activation
Once you've received permission to collect first-party user data and have unified and structured it into
profiles, you can then take action on it. CDPs can create audience segments that can be used across the
rest of your marketing platforms and channels.
Figure 5. CDP illustration
II. Why CDP important
1. Understand Customer Behavior With a CDP
A CDP is a powerful tool that can help business owners better understand customer behavior. With a
CDP, businesses can gather, store and analyze customer data across multiple channels and device
types to identify patterns and trends in customer interaction.
“The best thing our customer data platform has provided us is better insights. We can now better
understand our customers’ behavior and interests, allowing us to tailor our product offerings more
precisely. This has had a positive effect on our bottom line,” Logan Mallory, VP, Motivosity, said.
For example, CDPs can track how often customers visit your website, or how much time they spend on
certain pages. This gives you valuable insight into what types of content resonate best with different
customers, and allows you to tailor product recommendations across your brand portfolio.
“We use our CDP to understand our customer base better and target them with relevant messages and
offers,” Jerry Han, CMO, PrizeRebel, said. “Since our customers come from all over the world,
understanding their demographics allows us to tailor our messaging in each market.”
2. Automate Processes To Save Time and Money
Customer data platforms help streamline mundane tasks and allow for automation, letting business
owners focus on the more critical aspects of their operations. Additionally, by automating processes,
businesses can save money that would be spent on labor costs.
“Automating customer data management with a CDP has saved us so much time and money,” Anthony
Martin, founder and CEO, Choice Mutual, said. “We can now process customer information quickly,
allowing us to serve our clients better and focus more on product development.”
3. Anticipate Customer Needs and Target the Right Audiences
One of the most essential benefits of a CDP is that they can help target the right customers through
customer segmentation. Customer segmentation is when businesses group customers into subgroups
based on specific profile attributes, behaviors, and interests.
With access to customer data, you can segment customers into groups according to specific
preferences. You can then target them with product offers that match their tastes. This type of
segmentation helps business owners target the right customers most effectively and leads to more
revenue.
A customer data platform also gives businesses the ability to utilize predictive analytics on different
audiences. Predictive analytics is a statistical method for using historical data to identify future
outcomes. This allows business owners to understand customer behaviors better and make decisions
based on those insights.
For example, a business could use predictive analytics to anticipate when customers need a specific
product most to effectively forecast demand. They can also use predictive analytics to understand
what kind of promotions customers would most likely respond to.
4. Track Performance Metrics To Optimize Customer Lifetime Value
Measuring success with a customer data platform can be done in various ways, such as tracking
customer retention and lifetime value, measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and
understanding how customers discover and interact with your business.
“We don’t just market and sell our products, but use customer data to measure performance and
make adjustments as necessary,” Jarret Austin, owner, Bankruptcy Canada Inc., said.
Focusing on customer retention is vital to long-term success. A customer data platform will allow you
to track the total number of customers who have joined your business over time, and how many are
still actively engaging with your services. By understanding the customer journey, you can identify
areas where customers may become disengaged, or find an opportunity to increase engagement
through optimization.
III. CDP contribution to own learning
Change is constant, and in the ever-changing world we live in, it becomes almost imperative to keep
progressing in our professional endeavours. The best option to keep up with this is to use continuing
professional development (CPD) programmes to stay ahead of the curve. Continuous learning results in
superior growth, so if you want to achieve greater success in your professional career, CPD is the way
forward. Continuous professional development refers to the process of training and developing
professional knowledge and skills through independent, participation-based or interactive learning.
This form of learning allows professionals to improve their capabilities with the help of certified
learning. CPD courses for professionals should reflect their current expectations as well as future
ambitions. As your career develops, the knowledge and skills you require will also evolve. This is where
CPD will come to your rescue and help you steer your career in the future.
E. PRODUCE A DEVELOPMENT PLAN THAT OUTLINES RESPONSIBILITIES,
PERFORMACE OBJECTIVES AND REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING
FOR OWN FUTURE (P8)
Figure 6. My CV
I. Setting goals
I want to be successful, and I have to set goals to control my life effectively. Goals not only help me direct the right direction in my life but it’s also got criterion for determining whether I am successful or not. I have
used smart goals to make it more specific
Goals
(A) Passing this course with a total mark
over 35 and also get over 8 grades.
(A) Passing the subject which is Database

at least merit (M) or distinction (D)
How is it relevant to what I want to
achieve?
What timescale is involved? What are
the key dates?
How will I measure my success?
Is the goal attainable?
I have been trying my best to attend
the class on time and fully to avoid
missing any lessons or not enough
attendance.
Because Ms Nhung gave my class
seeing other assignments 1; thus, I also
know the format and other related
things. They will be helpful for my first
assignment.
In the class, when Ms Nhung asks
questions for students, I will always
raise my hand firstly to answer her
question so that I can get the plus
points.
Yes, because I put effort into my
assignment and spend time making it
perfect.
I also know how to use “Word” so my
pdf file will be eye-catching and easy
to understand and read.
Once Ms Nhung uploads the
assignment on cms, I will download it
right away and spend as much time
as possible to make my assignment
perfect.
I would like to be an organized person so
that making a plan and knowing what to
do in the near or far future. Because I
know that if I become a person like that,
my job career will be better and make my
life easier.
I also want to be the best student in the
student-honouring ceremony.
I have had some certificates of merit in
English levels but I did not have any
certificates of merit when I start studying
my major; therefore, I would like to get
one in the next ceremony.
Due day:
Assignment 1 - 12/1/2023
Assignment 2 - 16/1/2023
I spent my free time studying all the
necessary information and relevant
knowledge of this subject so that I can
study faster and spend time doing
other difficult exercises.
Yes, in the first semester, I still did
not know how to do the perfect
assignment but now I know what the
subject requires and what I need if I
want to get M or D grades.
I am becoming a back-end developer
related to managing data and this subject
is essential for that.
Due day:
Assignment 1 – 11/2/2023
Assignment 2 – 25/2/2023
I also get the private information of my
teachers; thus, if I have any problems I
can ask them and keep track of the
subject.
I have referred to some assignments
of my friends to know what I will
study. Thanks to that, I will have
more time and spend a lot of time
doing my assignment and handing it
in before the deadline.
This semester, I just study three
subjects so I will have much time to
study and focus on this.
As I said above, I also want to be the best
student.
The others I do not know the deadlines, I will
wait for Ms Nhung.
The deadline of assignment 1 is in this week
and I also don’t have assignment in database
subject so that I have to spend time to make
this assignment completely and perfectly.
Assignment 2 will be given this week, I also
try to finish it within this week because Tet is
coming and I don’t want to spend that time
doing this.
I still have much time to finish two
assignments but I will try to finish the first
one before the Tet holiday. However, I will
not submit it, when the teacher reminds me
the deadlines. I will spend time finalizing it
and making it flawless

I will spend time reading books and tips
about love.
I also spend time listening to her problems.
I will buy her some cute gifts that she likes
such as stuffed animals or flowers.
II. Three skills neeed to develop
From the concepts of life skills, the importance of carefully developing and practising skills will quickly
integrate people into a new collective, environment and assert their position in it. Therefore, the
formation of basic skills in the process of studying and working is a decisive factor in the process of
forming and developing oneself and their position in the future. Blow are important skills that I need to
learn and improve.
1. Learnability
We’ll begin with learnability because it is arguably the most important 21st-century skill you will need
to succeed. Alvin Toffler said, "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and
write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn." That's because, in an environment where
new skills emerge as fast as others fade, success is less about what you already know and more about
adapting your skills by growing and expanding your knowledge base, so you can use new information
and skills to respond to whatever is happening.
2. Resilience
Setbacks and failures are a part of life, but how you choose to deal with those roadblocks is what is
critical to your success. Resilience is the ability to bounce back in the face of obstacles and failures.
When you are resilient, you don't focus on the ups and downs. Instead, you stay focused on your longterm goals, and you never lose confidence in your ability to prevail. By helping you face challenges and
difficulties, resilience also enables you to handle stress more positively.
3. Agility
As the work landscape shifts, learning to be agile is a critical skill, as yesterday’s solutions do not solve
tomorrow’s problems. At the heart of being agile is shifting gears when the context calls for it and
responding accordingly to the needs of your workplace, clients or industry trends.
4. Collaboration
In our increasingly hyper-connected world, we’re no longer expected to work just as individuals or only
in silos. Our projects have become more complex, so the ability to work effectively as part of a team
has also grown in importance. Given the increasingly global nature of work, your ability to collaborate,
share knowledge and contribute to teams that can capitalize on a diversity of thinking and perspective
in ways that everyone can benefit and drive to the shared outcomes is critical.
Figure 7.Top soft skills
III. Develop strengths and weaknesses
Develop strengths:
To become a fluency developer, I always looking for new skills and knowledge to learn and experience.
My strength is self-study, I always looking for a website to improve my coding skills, but not only
coding. Sometimes I work with my group, and they get me some tips to get effective at studying.
Communicating also is an important skill, that I make to add more friends and take some exciting
conversations.
Develop weakness:
I think in the world no body is perfect, who also have at least 1-2 weaknesses. In the past my weakness
is English. In high school, and middle school. However, when I started studying at university my English
skills changed, I think the way of teaching English at university makes it easier for me to understand, at
university most I self-study in my class I listen to the teacher's teaching. When I have free time, I often
review vocabulary and gramma, I also read English books, and listening English music on youtube. I
have been learning English to get a 7.5 grade in the future
IV. Rating development needs
Depending on the goal, each person has their own development plans and skills they want to improve,
that skills will make them develop their work, and become greater and it will helpful for them work and
communicate with other people.
Below are some skills development needs:
Set-up plan skills
Time-manager skills
Self-study skills
Communication skills
Teamwork skills
English skills
