1. Introduction 1.1. Rationale

In our interconnected world, where global communication is paramount, the ability to bridge linguistic and cultural gaps is a skill of immense significance. Therefore, translation is a fundamental skill that plays a pivotal role in fostering effective communication across linguistic and cultural boundaries. In our increasingly interconnected world, the ability to translate accurately and contextually is crucial for facilitating global understanding, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas. This subject stands as a gateway for students to enter the dynamic realm of translation, fostering a profound understanding of languages and cultures. As we delve into this subject, we embark on a journey that goes beyond the literal conversion of words; it is an exploration of cultural nuances, a refinement of language proficiency, and a preparation for the multifaceted challenges of a globalized society. Therefore, this assignment has been completed. This assignment is based on Translation Practice 3’s syllabus and is clarified through a documentary on BBC World Service channel on Youtube.

This assignment includes the use of language and writing style in newspaper.

Just like Inspector Murakami, we're also on a hunt for sexual assaulters. I’m Zhaoyin Feng, a reporter for the BBC. And what brought us here is a website we came across a few months ago. The website is called DingBuZhu. It means "I can't hold it" in Chinese. And it immediately caught our attention. The main image shows a man ejaculating on a woman's dress. Others on escalators and in shopping malls. All follow the same pattern. A man films and stalks his female target from behind. What comes next is too graphic to show you in full. He gets his genitals out and rubs them against her body. Some of the men even ejaculate on their victims' clothes or hair. You can also order your own tailor-made abuse on the website. It's clear the videos are not staged. They're filmed in crowded public places and the men act discreetly. These women are victims of sexual violence. And some videos of their assaults are sold on DingBuZhu for less than a dollar. As we take a closer look at some of the videos I notice something familiar. “These videos are filmed in

This is a business profiting from sexual assaults, selling horrific videos to what looks like an online community of perverts. But who's behind the websites? 3 Who is Uncle Qi?

Uncle Qi. He's hailed as the guru of this community. On Twitter, he puts up teasers of the websites' videos to his followers. But who is he? And where can he be? The Telegram group reveals more. An admin posted these photos and claimed he abused a woman with Uncle Qi. The location looks like a metro station. And within hours, we get a match.
