IMPORTANT SOCIAL ISSUE: "POVERTY AND THE VALUE OF

FOOD".

<small>IN TODAY’S MODERN WORLD, WE ARE FACED WITH A SAD TRUTH: DESPITE CONSTANT </small>

<small>DEVELOPMENT IN TECHNOLOGY AND ECONOMY, POVERTY REMAINS A GLOBAL ISSUE THAT WE CANNOT IGNORE. POVERTY NOT ONLY AFFECTS PEOPLE’S DAILY LIVES, BUT ALSO </small>

<small>CREATES A CHAIN OF OTHER SOCIAL PROBLEMS SUCH AS DISEASE, CRIME, AND INEQUALITY.</small>

<small>MEANWHILE, THE VALUE OF FOOD IS OFTEN MISUNDERSTOOD AND UNDERVALUED. FOOD IS NOT JUST A BASIC NECESSITY FOR SURVIVAL, BUT ALSO AN IMPORTANT PART OF </small>

<small>CULTURE, HEALTH, AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. HOWEVER, IN A FAST-PACED CONSUMER SOCIETY, THE TRUE VALUE OF FOOD SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN.</small>

<small>WE NEED TO RECONSIDER THE ISSUE OF POVERTY AND THE VALUE OF FOOD FROM A NEW PERSPECTIVE, TO FIND EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS TO THESE PROBLEMS. BY DOING SO, WE NOT ONLY HELP IMPROVE THE LIVES OF THE IMPOVERISHED, BUT ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO THE </small>

<small>SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY AS A WHOLE.</small>

The Value of Food

1. Food as a Source of Life: For those living in poverty, each meal can be a battle. Food provides the strength for them to continue their daily lives, work, and nourish their families.

2. Food as a Symbol of Hope: Food is also a symbol of hope. A satisfying meal can bring joy and hope for a better day. That’s why providing food to the hungry not only helps them survive but also brings hope for the future.

3. Food as an Educational Tool: Food is also an important educational tool. When children do not have to worry about finding food, they can focus on learning. A breakfast provides the necessary energy for children to concentrate on their studies.
