Nowadays, people have many choices of commuting to work, including public transport. It is alsobelieved that it brings them a lot of merits. The primary benefit by using buses or trains fortravelling is saving money. It can be clearly seen that when people drive a private car or amotorbike, they must pay for not only the cost of petrol but also the regular maintenance fee.Furthermore, the price of buying one car or motorbike is very expensive whereas buses andtrams is for everyone, even the lowest-income people. Another advantage I want to mention isthat using public vehicle is a method to reduce air pollution and traffic jams. Especially in the city,when the increase in the number of vehicles makes the road more crowded, the public transportsystem is developed to deal with traffic jam and reduce the pollutant released by petrol-runvehicles. Therefore, using more public transportation is beneficial to everyone. In conclusion,utilizing public transport to commute has a various of beneficial effects that it should beencouraged.
