People recently put me in an uncomfortable scenario where they weren't quite honest with me.

A few days ago, I purchased a new microwave oven when shopping at a Hanoi mall. I questioned the salesperson if it was a brand-new one because it was so expensive. She told me that it had never been used and that if there was a mistake, I could return it within a week for an instant exchange or a complete refund. I tried it several times at home and discovered that the device was not as functional as it had been. Even after being heated for five minutes, the food in the oven remained cold. There appeared to be a malfunction with the apparatus.

I called that shop's after-sales department to inform them of the

malfunctioning machine. To inspect the machine, they dispatched a technician to my house. That salesman acknowledged that my microwave had previously been sold to someone else and then returned; as a result, I purchased a damaged one, feeling that I had been duped and deceived by him. I was furious with the

salesperson because, although I believed I could trust her, she was lying to me. I was absolutely sickened by that cunning salesperson. I promptly returned the microwave, but I was surprised to see that my request for an exchange was denied down. It seems that the oven needs to be returned in its original, unopened

packaging with all of its tags and tickets still attached. I was really shocked and disappointed by it.

In any case, the lesson was to always assume that something is not real if it sounds too good to be true. I should be more cautious the next time and inquire thoroughly about the exchange and refund policies to find out what the catch is andprevent any bad feelings from developing.
