Writing topics: Differences between living in the city and in the country.

Part 1: Make a detailed essay outline. Living in the city and in the country give me many differentimpressions:

1. Air:

City: polluted, many emissions from vehicles.

Country: fresh, comfortable, cool.

2. Prices and market:

City: expensive, variety of items can be bought. Country: cheap, little things are sold, fresh food...

Part 2: Write a contrastive essay of at least 250 words, using your detailed outline in Part 1.

Living in the city and the countryside bring people much different experience due to thegeographical area. In addition, making a choice between city and country is a tough decisionsince both have their own benefits and drawbacks.

In the first place, the main difference is the air. While the atmosphere in the city is

polluted due to the emissions from the vehicles, in the countryside, you can always enjoy thefresh and comfortable feeling in the air, as there are fewer cars and motorbikes here.

Next, prices and markets are also distinctive factors between city and country. The cost

of living in the city is always higher than that in the country with a variety of items can be bought

when in the country, you can buy less goods but with a cheaper price. A special thing is that inthe countryside you can always buy a lot of fresh food and vegetables, which are grown andharvested right in the fields.

Another difference is the facilities between city and country. In the city, you can see

that there are many modern and developed systems are set to manage transportation, housing andschooling... However, in the countryside, it is so limited that you do not have many chances tointeract with modern amenities since they are not always available.

Finally, one important difference between two places is the appearance. When you

come to the city, you can always see there are skyscrapers and buildings everywhere, and peoplehere are very busy with their personal work. There are many vehicles in the streets too, and thisleads to traffic jams in rush hours. In contrast to the city, the landscape in the countryside is easierto see and airy with immense fields and lots of green trees. Living in the country is more peacefulthan that in the city. In conclusion, living in the countryside or in the city has its own benefits anddisadvantages, so you should accept the discomforts that your current place brings
