 Aim: Reading a text to understand the details and practising
library vocabulary.
 Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to
understand the details of the dialogue and to say the library
vocb. subjects.
1.Revision:
Jumbled words.
luralitere = literature, torishy = history, hispics = physics,
phygrageo =geography, liogoby = biology.
2.Pre-reading.
Pre teach:
(a) library.
(a) novel.
(a) reader.
(a) reference book Wordsquare:
(a) dictionary.
Ss find 11 hidden
words about classes.
 Newspaper,
novels,
magazine, dictionry,
 racks, library,
science, reader.
 book, math, shelf.

Set the scene:
Hoa and her friends go to visit a library. The librarian introduces
books in it and says where they are (by asking some questions).

- Where is this ?
- What can you see ? / What kinds of books are there in the library ?
- Who are the chidren, do you think ?
- Who is the lady, can you guess ?
- What time does the library open ?
- What time does it close ?

Ss look at the picture on the board and listen to the tape (twice).
Listen again and repeat sentence by sentence.
T. asks Ss to read the question and answer (pair work).

f, The library opens at 7 a.m.
g, The library closes at 4.30 p.m .
3.Post Reading: Written exercise.Ss write sentences about their school
library, using Pre-questions the library Vocabulary.
4.Homework: Finish your writing.
