I. Presentation :
Recall : Ss talk about Hoa 's Mom letter. Ask + answer the questions.
1. Did Hoa get a letter from her Mom ?
2. Will her Mom visit her after the harvest ?
3. Can Hoa take care of herself ?
4. Does she get up early every morning ?
5. Does she go to bed late ?
6. Will she write to her Mom soon ?
T. asks - Ss answer (Individually).
II. While writing :
Set the scene : Hoa ' Mom wrote her a letter. She writes one to reply
and talk about routine and her hygiene.
This Gap. Fill is Hoa 's reply letter - You have to complete it .
Answer key After reading it twice.
Was, having, show, take, get, go, wash, iron, eating, told, see, go.
Ss work in groups of 4, write the complete letter on poster.
III. Post reading
Exhibition :
Ss put their posters on the board, comparing their work.

Transformation writing
- Ss write a - reply letter to their pen - pal, telling what they
they do everyday.

 Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to retell
what happened at dentist 's (what they saw + did there)
 Teaching aids : Tape and posters.
I. Revision :

II. Presentation :
Set the scene : Minh has a toothache. He 's going to the dentist but he 's
scared. So Hoa tells him something about the dentist to make him feel less
scared.
