Description of Students:
The students are in the 10
th
grade and are all native Vietnamese speakers.
The students have studied ESL for nearly 10 years and several are more
confident with writing and reading than they are with speaking.
Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
_Understand the graphs and write a paragraph to interpret the information
from the graph.
_ Be updated with the fomat and the language used in describing graphs.
Skills focus / Grammar structure(s) / Vocablary:
The skill focus is writing and reading.
Grammar structures and vocabulary are presented.
