Lesson: Writing
• Aims : helps Ss to develop writing skill by using connector words to write about someone’s
biography, arranging information order correctly.
• Objectives : By the end of the lesson, SS will be able to:
- know about the order of information in biography writing
- write a biography of Neil Armstrong
• Teaching aids :, Textbook, pictures, handouts
• Procedure

_ Check up old lesson: ask 2 questions and vocabulary (6’)

Neil Armstrong is an American astronaut. He is
known as the first person to walk on the moon. He

He was a pilot in United States Navy from 1949 to
1952. Neil Armstrong received his B. S from Purdue
University in 1955. In 1962, he joined the NASA
astronaut program. On 20

July, 1969, he became the
first human to step on the Moon’s surface. He
received his M.S from the University of Southern
California in 1970. He resigned from NASA a year
later. From 1971 to 1979, Neil Armstrong taught in
the University of Cincinnati.
He was appointed vice chairman of the committee
that investigated the space shuttle Challenger disaster.
