Bài giảng này và bài tiếp theo chúng ta sẽ học về dấu
phẩy. Buổi hôm nay học về cách dấu phẩy liên kết với
những thành phần khác của câu như mệnh đề và cụm từ.
Phần khởi động

Để có thể nắm được mối tương quan giữa dấu phẩy và
thành phần câu, trước tiên các bạn hãy nhớ lại phần câu
hoàn chỉnh và câu sai đã được học ở bài 3. Trước khi bắt
đầu bài học, hãy xem thử bạn đã hiểu rõ về dấu phẩy và
thành phần câu hay chưa. Bạn hãy nhìn vào cột Problem
(Có vấn đề) và thêm dấu phẩy vào những chỗ cần thiết.
Sau đó các bạn hãy kiểm tra lại đáp án ở cột Solution (Đã
giải quyết).

Dấu phẩy đứng trước từ, cụm từ và mệnh đề giới
thiệu

Dấu phẩy được sử dụng để làm nổi bật từ, cụm từ và
mệnh đề giới thiệu so với những thành phần khác của
câu. Dấu phẩy giúp người đọc không bị lẫn phần giới thiệu
và phần chính của bài.
Nói một cách khác, dấu phẩy đứng trước phần giới thiệu
sẽ tiết kiệm thời gian của người đọc và giảm thiểu nguy
cơ hiểu sai.
Phần ví dụ dưới đây sẽ giúp các bạn nhận định sự liên kết
của dấu phẩy với từ, cụm từ và mệnh đề trong câu.

Các bạn có nhớ phần câu thiếu đã được học ở bài 3
không? Một phần trong đó có nhắc đến mệnh đề phụ
thuộc và phần cuối của ví dụ trên cũng đề cập đến.
Phần đầu của mỗi câu, mệnh đề phụ thuộc đều đứng sau
dấu phẩy. Hai phần của câu đều có thể dễ dàng đảo
ngược vị trí và câu vẫn có nghĩa.

Tuy nhiên, nếu bạn đảo ngược vị trí, đưa mệnh đề độc lập
lên đầu câu thì sẽ không cần dùng đến dấu phẩy nữa.
