What is success?
What is your definition of success? Before you can achieve success, you
need to define what success means to you. Unless you have a clear vision
of what success is to you, you cannot work towards it.
Success means different things to different people. For some, monetary
reward is a measure of success. Yet others have multiple definition of
success.
I asked several people what they thought success was. One person said that
"Success is making loads of money." Another said that success is
"Achieving your goals". Some one else said that success is "Fulfilling your
potential". An interesting answer was that success is "Making others
jealous".
We evaluate the success over many areas. It could be career, health,
spiritual, emotional, time or financial problems. This person can be
successful or all such things. With the other, the other can complete. Success
does not have a certain pattern.With me,the best definition I have come
across is: "Success is the completion of anything intended." In other words
success is finishing what you planned to do. Can not define success for
everyone.So think hard about your own definition of success.
