It is a kind of essay, In this type
of essay we not only give
information but also present an
argument with the PROS
(supporting ideas) and CONS
(opposing ideas) of an
argumentative issue.
The function of an argumentative
essay:
To prove that your opinion
about some fact, problem or
phenomenon is correct or more
truthful than others
There are a few types of
argumentative compositions such
as:
1. Advantages and disadvantages
2. Expressing opinions/providing
solutions to problems
3. Expressing arguments for and
against a topic
4. Compare and contrast
something or somebody
