A. Objectives:
1. Aims: - Sts revise what they have learned in unit 4. unit 5 and unit 6.
2. Knowledge: - General knowledge in unit 4, unit 5 and unit 6.
- Language: pronunciation and grammar in the above units.
3. Skills: listening, speaking and writing.

I. Organization

ii. Checking the old lesson: 5’
- Ask one student to rewrite the sentence
on the board.
1There are a lot of people in your office.

2. Britain imports many cars. They were

- Ask one student to give remarks.
- Give remarks and marks.
III. New lesson: 30’
- Ask Ss to do part II, part III and part IV
at home in advance to save time.
- Give Ss the time duration for each part :
part II: 10 minutes, part III: 10 minutes,
part IV: 15 minutes.
- Ask Ss to do listening in class.
.1. Listening:


- Ask Ss to read the sentences in the
textbook.
- Introduce new words if necessary.
- play the disc twice and ask Ss to try to
complete the sentences in the second time.
- Ask Ss to share their ideas with their
partners.
- Read the sentences again so that Ss can
check their task for the last time.
- Ask 2 Ss to answer .
- Ask other Sts to give remarks.
- Check and give feedback.


2. Reading:
- Ask Ss to work individually, then in
groups to compare their answers.

Education in England

Every child in Great Britain between the age of five and fifteen must attend school. There are three main
types of educational institutions : primary schools, secondary schools and universities.
State schools are free, and attendance is compulsory. Morning school begins at nine o’clock and lasts until
half past four. School is open five days a week. On Saturdays and Sundays there are no lessons. There are
holidays at Christmas, Easter and in summer. In London as in all cities there are two grades of state
schools for those who will go to work after fifteen: primary for boys and girls between the ages of five and
eleven, and secondary schools for children from eleven to fifteen years. The lessons are raeding,
writing, the English language, English literrature, English history, geography, science, Nature study,
drawing, painting, singing,woodwork andb drill ( physical training).
