I. Objectives.
After the lesson Ss will be able to know more about the
personal hygience, and practice asking and answering the
questions about the tooth with the words: look after, give
advice,
To drill Ss listening skills.
II. Teaching aids.
Tape, cassette ,text book , work sheet.
III. Teaching procedure.
1. Organization:
- Do exercise B 1 in the work book .( page 63 )
3. New lesson:
A. Warm up.
Ask Ss to play the Hang man with the words relate to the tooth
and toothache .
Toothache. Dentist. Cavity.
Brush teeth.
-Ask some pairs to go to the BB to play.
B . Pre- listening.
- Ask Ss to play the matching.
Matter hàn răng.
Toothache đau răng
Appoinment cuộc hẹn
Scare sợ
Dentist Nha sỹ
-Ask Ss to retell the story about Minh:
Minh has a toothache . He has appointment with the dentist. But
he was scared. Hoa advised him not to worry because the dentist
was kind

C. While –listening.
- Introduce the listening and ask Ss to guess what the dentist is
like?
-Play the tape the first time, and ask Ss to find the answer.
-Ask Ss to listen to the tape again and answer the questions in
the text book.
-Call some pairs answer in front of the class.
a.) Dr Lai is a dentist.
b.) She wears uniform to work
c.) Most children feels scaredwhen they come to see Dr Lai.
d.) She explains What will happen.She give them advice . She
tells them how to look after their teeth, and she reminds them
to clean their teeth regularly ans eat sensibly.
Play the tape the last time to check their answers.
- Introduce some new words:
Remind sb to do smt: nhắc nhở ai làm gì
Clean teeth regularly: đánh răng thường xuyên
Eat sensibly : ăn uống hợp lý
-Ask Ss to read the new words in chorus.
D. Post- listening.
Ask Ss to do the exercise.
Choose the best word in the bracket.
