This gearbox uses only the 8-tooth
and 24-tooth gears. There is a series
of five 3:1 reductions, making for an
final gear ratio of 243:1. This means that
the motor shaft must turn 243 times in
order for the "Output Shaft" to turn once.
This gearbox will provide a great deal
of torque at the output shaft at low speed.
The stage before the last reduction would
provide 3 times the speed at one-third
of the torque.
