1.S/O
- Chủ ngữ trong câu trong ngoặc phải đổi cho phù hợp với chủ ngữ trong câu ngoài ngoặc. (Trừ tr-
ờng hợp S ngoài ngoặc *Snn* là I .
- Nếu S trong ngoặc *Stn* là I/We thì chuyển theo Snn ( We They) - Nếu Stn là you
thì phải căn cứ theo O ngoài ngoặc *Onn* Nếu Onn không co thì mặc định là me .
- Nếu Stn là ngôi thứ ba số ít hay nhiều thì không chuyển đổi.

Cấu trúc đặc biệt

Shall we + V_inf Rủ rê, gợi ý, đề nghị. Theo cấu trúc với suggested .
Ex: Shall we go out , he said.
He suggested going out.
He suggested that we/they should go out.
Shall I + V Đề nghị Snn + offered to + V_inf.
Ex; Shall I give you a lift .

I offered to give her a lift.
C4 Should/ Had better /Ought to.
a, Nếu Stn là you Chuyển theo lời khuyên.
Snn advised Onn + to/not to + Vtn_inf +(Otn)
Ex: You d better complete the report, He said.
He advised me to complete the report.

b.Khi đi với các chủ ngữ còn lại, các cấu trúc trên diễn tả bổn phận nhất đinh ở hiện tại,
chuyển theo quy tắc nhng không đổi các từ trên.
Ex: I ought to go ,He said.
He said he ought to go.

C5 Need:
-Khi need là V th ờng theo quy tắc câu trần thuật.
Ex: I need to go home he said.
He said he needed to go home.
-Khi need là động từ khuyết thiếu
S + Need + V_inf Theo quy tắc : need had to+V_inf.
Need nt Did nt have to.
Ex: Peter need pay for it I said.
I said Peter had to pay for it.
-Khi need là V khuyết thiếu có chủ ngữ là you Chuyển theo mệnh lệnh thức (Không có
trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong tơng lai).
-Nếu có trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong t ơng lai thì diễn tả bổn phận Chuyển theo quy tắc thứ
hai.
C6: Must
You must+V_inf Diễn tả bổn phận, mệnh lệnh thức Theo mệnh lệnh thức.

C7: Dạng gián tiếp của câu có mệnh đề chỉ thời gian(là câu phức nối bằng when ; as soon as ;
as = just as , once , then as , after , while , before ).
-Mệnh đề 1 + từ nối + Mệnh đề 2
Clause 1 + linkword+ Clause 2.

Present siple S + will + V_inf Theo quy tắc lùi 1 thì.
Ex: As soon as I finish the book, I ll give it to you,
He said.
He said as soon as he finished the book, he would
give it to me.
Past Simple Past simple (2 hành động kế tiếp nhau) Có thể lùi hoắc giữ
nguyên động từ của cả hai mệnh đề.
Ex: When I cook, He laid the table I said.
Past
continuous
Past simple (2 hành động đan xen) theo quy tắc nhng không lùi
thì.
Ex: When I was writing he came in She said.
She said when she was writing he came in.

Past ferfect Past simple Theo quy tắc nhng không lùi thì của động từ.
Ex: After I had finished the task, I went out , He
said.
He said after he had finished the task, he went out.
QKHTTD Past Simple Theo quy tắc và không lùi thì
**Notes* Tất cả những mệnh đề đi với dạng câu when ở quá khứ đều phảI lùi 1 thì theo quy tắc.

C8 Câu giả định:
a,[ It s time/ It s high time + S + V(past simple) + O ] Đã đến lúc làm cái gì đó .
Theo quy tắc , chỉ đợc lùi thì ngữ pháp của mệnh đề It s time, mệnh đề đứng sau giữ nguyên thì .
Ex: It is the time you went home he said.
He said it was the time I went home.
b,[S d + rather (sooner) + S + V(past simple) + O ]
Theo quy tắc nhng không lùi thì của động từ.
Ex: I d rather she got out of here. He said.
He said he d rather she got out of there.
c. wish+Clause :
Theo quy tắc nhng chỉ đợc lùi thì của động từ của wish
-Khi V của mệnh đề sau wish là was hay were thì phải chuyển theo chủ ngữ mới .
Ex: I wish I were you. He said to me.
He said he wished he was me.
I wish I had wings I said.
I said I wished I had wings.

If only Will + V Diễn tả hành động sẽ xảy ra trong tơng lai thờng
có adv đi kèm.
If only Theo quy tắc nhng không lùi thì.
Ex: If only we ll finished at 8.30 , Students say.
Students say if only they ll finish at 8.30 .
If only Past simple -Thờng chuyển theo câu điều kiện lại 2, có thể viết
lại với sorry ở hiện tại.
Ex: If only he was here . I Said.
I said I was sorry he is there.
Ex: If only I came there with you, he said
He said he sorry he come there with me.
-Tiếc nuối cho 1 hành động trong quá khứ.
If only QKHT Theo quy tắc nhng không lùi thì .
Ex: If only I had followed your advise he told
me.

If only Would+ V -Diễn tả 1 hành động có khả năng xảy ra
Theo quy tắc nhng không lùi thì.
Ex: She said I m in troubles if only my brother

e. [ S + modal V (động từ khuyết thiếu) + have + Ved2 ]
(been+Ving)
Mẫu câu phỏng đoán :
Theo quy tắc nhng giữ nguyên thì ngữ pháp .
-Nếu modal V là have to/seem to thì phảI lùi thì của chúng.
Ex: She looks sleepy. She must have stayed uplate last night Miss Lan said.

Miss Lan said she looked sleepy, she must have stayed up late the night before.

D, Conditional sentences (Câu điều kiện)

D1: Type 1
-Theo quy tắc biến đỏi câu điều kiện loại 1 thành câu điều kiện loại 2
Ex: If I have time, I ll write to her Ann said.
If she had time , she would write to her.

ta sẽ truyền đạt theo cấu trúc đó, Mệnh đề điều kiện vẫn theo quy tắc.

D2:Type 2.3.4
-Ta chuyển theo quy tắc nhng không lùi thì của động từ .
Ex: If I knew you, I would be very happy. He said.
He said if he knew me, he would be very happy.
-Khi chuyển câu điều kiện ở dạng nghi vấn ta phải ding asked, wheather mà không đ ợc dùng
asked if để tránh trùng lặp.

1, You + V_inf: buộc tội Snn accused Onn + of +V_ing.
Ex: You stole my bike , he said.
He accused me of stealing his bike.
2, Please (don t)/ V_inf : Cầu xin , nài nỉ Snn + insisted sb on + (not)+V_ing .
Snn begged sb + to/not to
Ex: Please repeat the talk. He said. He begged me to repeat the talk.
3. Becareful + Clause (HTĐ) : Cảnh báo Snn warned Onn about st (there is/there are) Miêu tả
(not) to + V_inf.
Ex: Becareful , the dog is crazy . He warned me about the crazy dog.

IV Other Special Cases (Các tr ờng hợp đặc biệt khác):
Thì của động từ không thay đổi khi chuyển sang câu trờng thuật trong những trờng hợp sau:
+ QKĐ hoặc QKTD trong câu nói về thời gian:
Ex: John said : When I lived/ was living in London, I often saw Jane.
John said when he lived/ was living in London, he often saw Jane.
+ QKĐ miêu tả một trạng thái mà trạng thái đó vẫn tồn tại
Ex: I said I decided not to sell this house because it was on the main road .
I said I had decided not to sell that house because it was on the main road.

+ Trong câu điều kiện loại 2 3
Ex: Marry said If I were you, I wouldn t come here .
Marry said that she wished she were a boy.
+ Trong lời nói trực tiếp có:
., could/would/should/might/ought to .
., would rather sb did st : muốn ai đó làm gì trong hiện tại
,. Used to do st : đã từng/ có thói quen làm gì trong qua khứ.
., It s time + S + Ved2 : Đã đến lúc ai đó làm gì.
., had better (not)do st : Nên làm gì Advised sb (not) to do st
Ex: I d rather you paid me now , I said to her.
I told her I d rather she paid me then.
+ Lời nói trực tiếp diễn tả một trân lí, thói quen:
Ex: My teacher said The sun rises in the East .
My teacher said the sun rises in the East .
+ Nếu động từ của mệnh đề chính ở thì HTĐG (say) , HTHT (have/has said) hoặc Tơng lai
đơn(win say) thì trong lời dẫn ta chỉ đổi đại từ.
Ex: The farmer says : I hope it will rain tomorrow .
The farmer sáy that he hopes it will rain tomorrow .
Ex: She has said : I m tired now .
She has said that she is tired then.
