The Chilko River in Canada's Bristish Columbia is famous for having18 miles of the
most difficult while water for rafting in north America. But now the river is famous for
something else. Six men died on rafting trip in six days. On one occasion, five American
men were on the same raft. On another occasion, four days later, a German man also died.
The German drowned when he was swept into the river from the shore. The accident with
