How are you? I was very happy when I got
a letter from you. I am really happy that
you spent a wonderful summer holiday in
Sa Pa. And now, I would like to tell you
about my summer holiday. Last summer I
visited Cua Lo beach with my parents. We
went there by car. We stayed in Binh Minh
hotel for a week.
In Cua Lo, we visited a lot of interesting
places: Hon Ngu island, Nguyen Su Hoi
temple. But the most exciting for me was
visiting Hon Ngu island. It was fantastic
and romantic Food in Cua Lo is
extremely delicious. I especially felt
excited with the courses from seafood such
as "cua rang me, chao ngao or mam ruoc"
Cua Lo's people are very friendly and
warm. So, my parents and I felt happy very
comfortable like at home. Well, I told you

Con người ở Cửa Lò rất thân thiện và ấm áp,
vì vậy bố mẹ tôi và tôi cảm thấy rất vui vẻ và
thoải mái như ở nhà. Tốt, tôi đã kể cho bạn
về kỳ nghỉ hè của tôi, Trang, Bạn muốn thăm
nơi gì vào kỳ nghỉ hè tiếp theo ? Tại sao?

My full name is Bang Vu Hai,I was born and grew up in THAI NGUYEN city
My topic today is my family Which is very important for me.so I’d like to tell you about members
in my family,
I got married in 2005. I have a family with Tôi đã cưới năm 2005. Tôi có một gia đình với
four members, they are my wife, our two children
and me. We all live in a house in Thai Nguyen city,
it’s about 110 km from here.
My wife is my close friend, she is 35 years
old, she’s the same age as me. Her full name is Ngo
Thi Mai Doan. She is an accountant, so she is rather
busy in her work. In my family Perhaps, she is
the most hard working person. She has to look
after two sons. She always gets up very early,
She prepares breakfast for us. I love her food
very much. Whenever I come home, she
usually cooks a lot of food for me. She likes
going to the supermarket to buy clothes for us.

Her favourite sport is badminton and table tenis,
every afternoon, she usually plays sport with
me or her friends in her free time.
We have two sons. My first son is 5
years olds, he is very studious and my second
son is 3 years old, he is abit lazier, but they
both are lovely. When they stay at home, my
house is in a mess. Sometime they fight each
other and make a lot of noise. We always have
to remind them to keep peaceful (hoa binh) in
my house. Fortunately, They all went to the
kindergarten.
The last member is me, I have been a
learner of Tran Quoc Tuan university for 6
months. I don’t often go home, so I miss my
family a lot. I hope my family is always safe and
sound.

2. Daily routine

My topic today is Daily routine so I’d like to tell you about my habits or my timetable, It is rule of
us.
I always get up at 5 a.m. After
getting up. I do morning exercises for about
10 minutes. Then I brush my teeth and
wash my face. I have breakfast at 5.30
a.m. Before going to work, I have two or
three cups of tea or a cup of coffee.
I start work at 7 a.m. I usually have
6 periods with 2 or 3 subjects. After each
period I have 5 minutes break to relax. The
morning lessons finish at 11.30 in summer.
I often have lunch at 11.45.
After having lunch, I take a nap for

an hour. I continue working at 2.00 p.m, I
go to school again to study three more
periods, sometimes I stay at my unit to
revise the lessons. I usually finish my work
at 4.30 p.m. I go back to my unit and play
sport with my friends.
I usually play table tennis, football,
volleyball or badminton until 5 p.m. I like
sport because playing sport is good for my
health.
I have a bath before having dinner.
After having dinner, I often watch television
or read newspapers. Then I usually do my
home work, prepare lesson for the next day
or read book. I often go to the bed at 10.30
p.m.
That is all my activities in a day. I
think I like daily routine because I don’t

dậy. Tôi tập thể dục buổi sáng khoảng 10 phút.
Sau đó, tôi đánh răng và rửa mặt. Tôi ăn sáng lúc
5:30 Trước khi đi làm, tôi có hai hoặc ba tách trà
hoặc một cốc cà phê.
Tôi bắt đầu làm việc lúc 7 giờ sáng tôi thường

4. Holiday

My topic today is about Holiday so I’d like to tell you about an Interesting place It is CUALO
beach where I had a holiday last summer
Last summer, I went to Cua lo with my family.
We went there by car, it is very far from my house,
it is about 400 km, so we were very tired, but at one
we felt better when we saw the sea.
Cua lo beach is really interesting, the beach is

very large, flat, and it has a lot of sand. Waves are
very strong, you will be very excited when you play
with it. There are a lot of beauty spots, and good
seafood there
We stayed in Binh Minh hotel. It was a very nice
and comfortable hotel, it’s also rather near the sea.
The weather was hot and sunny all day. The sea
was cool and clear, because it was very windy in the
afternoon. We went swimming twice a day. My

Chúng tôi ở trong khách sạn Bình Minh. Đó là một
khách sạn rất đẹp và thoải mái, nó cũng khá gần biển.
Thời tiết nóng và nắng cả ngày. Biển mát mẻ và
sạch, bởi vì có nhiều gió vào buổi chiều. Chúng tôi đã
đi bơi hai lần một ngày. Các con tôi vô cùng phấn
khích về nó. Thức ăn rất ngon nhưng không đắt lắm.

I was born and grew up in a small village of
DAI TU district, in THAI NGUYEN province.
It is about 150 km from here.
It is a small village because it has only a
population of 1000 with a size of 3 square
kilometers
There is a primary school in the village, so it
is very convenient for children to go to school.
There is a small market with a lot of fresh food.
The food here is cheaper and fresher than the
one in the city.
My village has some nice view, such as:
large fields where we can fly a kite and Cau
river, where I could swim and my mother

My favourite sport is badminton. Because of
four reasons.
Firstly My health will be improved though
playing it. It makes me feel very excited and
comfotable, so I play it every afternoon.

Secondly, it makes me more active in my life
Thirdly, I can make a lot of friends. We can
improve our skills of playing badminton when we
play with each other.
Finally, playing badminton isn’t as dangerous
as: Voleyball, soccer…it is safe sport, not being hurt
In VN, Tien Minh is the most excellent
badminton sportsman. He is nineth over the world in
march in 2013. He is my idol
When I have freetime, I usually play
badminton with my colleagues, One of them is Mr
Thang, He is very good at this sport, but I don’t play

As you know, Being humans we naturally need
to take rest on our leisure time, to recover the stress
of work and every day life.
In fact every individual needs to take part in
different activities
Some people like participating in outdoor
activities, such as: running, walking, swimming,
going fishing, or playing in sport…. Because they
have sitting jobs, these people spend all day sitting
on a chair to their work. At the end of a working day,
they may have a backache, and their bodies become
tired. These people are usualy an
accountant; secretary ; Lawyer; Cashier…
Some other people like taking part in indoor
activities, such as reading books; watching TV;
listenning to music; relaxing in bed…. Because these

people have physical jobs,after work they don’t want
to run five kilometers, because they are already
physically tired, they want to take rest for their body.
These people are usually doctor; worker, farmer,

For me, I prefer to take part in outdoor activities.

My topic today is about my job so I’d like to tell you about some reasons that I chose my job.
After leaving high school in 1997, I joined the
army. There are some reasons that I chose joining
the army, at that time because:
firstly, I already want to become an officer in the
Army. My father and Grandfather were soldiers, too.
I was proud of them very much. I also liked wearing
soldier’s uniform, I wanted to be an officer like
them.
Secondly, My family wasn’t very rich, My
mother was a teacher. My parents didn’t have a lot
of money, so when I joined the army, my parents
didn’t have to pay money for my study.
After six years studying in the army university I
became an officer and at first I worked as a platoon
commander ( chi huy trung doi) in 2003. It was very
hard work because I had to stay in my unit most of
my time, I didn’t have much free time for my
family. And now I have been a teacher for 4 years.
Being a teacher, I need to have widen knowledge
about my job. So I have to have master degree and
the first I have to try to pass the exam and become a
master student.
One of the most difficult subjects is English. We
have learnt English for 6 months but speaking skill
and litsenning skill isnot very good. But I will try

My topic today is capital city so I’d like to tell you about our HANOIcapital
HANOI is the capital of the socialist
republic of VIET NAM. The center of culture,
politic, economy of the country.
It’s the largest city in VIET NAM, it lies on
the red River in the north center of Viet Nam.
And it has a population about over 6 million
people(as 2008) HANOI has become the capital of
VN since 1010. Its name has changed several times.
The capital was first called Thang Long, then Dong
Do , Dong Kinh, and finally, it has been called
HANOI since 1831
HANOI is sitnated in a tropical monsoon
zone with two main seasons; dry season and wet
season. The dry season last from October to April
next year. It’s cold, cloudy and occasionally rainy.
The wet season last from May to September. It’s hot
and heavy rain, even storms
HANOI is exciting and peaceful capital.
Hanoi still maintains many ancient architecture.

Including : The old quarters and over 600 pagodars
and Temples. One of the famous places is The one
Pillar Pagoda; The Quoc Tu Giam temple Literature,
Hanoi Opera House; Precident Ho Chi Minh’s
Mausolem. And now, there’re a lot of big famous

There are two reasons that English has
been known by a lot of people in the world:

Television is very important for our lives so most families have televisions. It
provides(cung cap) us with information and entertainment.
What would you do after a hard day at school or at work and you want to entertaining. It
simple, just turn on your TV. Music channel, comedy channel or cartoon channel is your choice,
just pick a channel. And not only entertaining, TV can also help you update the news from all
over the world in the end of the day
We stay at home and know what is happens all over the world. You can watch you
favourite programs and game shows you like. Someone spends 3 or 4 hours sitting in front of
television.
However, if you watch TV too much, it is bad for health especial for your eyes. Children
sometimes can’t study because of TV.
There are too much advertisements on television which makes us tired. Anyway, TV is a
wonderful invention (phat minh). It is a cheapest kind of entertainment for everybody.
