Lesson 4: A TRUCK DRIVER (C1,2)

Objective: By the end of the lesson student will be able to use “can/ can’t” to talk what they
are allowed or not allowed to do on the road.
Language contents:
Vocabulary: a policement, difficult,a sign, to park, ….
Grammar: Model verb : Can and Can’t
Techniques: Brainstorming, Pre-questions, Picture drill, Write it up.

II. Presentation:
1. New words:
- a policeman (visual): cảnh sát.
- difficult (adj)(trans.): khó khăn.
- a sign (example.): bảng hiệu.
- to park (trans.): đỗ xe.
- to turn left (visual): rẽ trái # to turn right


- to go straight ahead : đi thẳng.
- can (m.v) : có thể # can’t.

3. Pre-questions:
a. What does Mr. Hoang do?
b. Is his job difficult?
c. What does this sign mean?
* Keys: a. He is a policeman.
