Time: 45 minutes
I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
• Sts know some information about Pelé, the most famous footballer in the
world.
• Learn more vocabulary, both meaning and pronunciation.
• Improve their listening skill.
II. APPROACH AND TEACHING AIDS:
• Approach: Communicative Approach + Grammar-Translation Method.
• Teaching aids: textbooks, pictures, sub-boards, cassette.
III. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:
• Student may be tired and unwilling to participate the lesson.
• Some students may lack vocabulary so they cannot listen the information
Students may not be good at listening and take noting so they get some
dificulties to fìnd out the information.
IV. SOLUTIONS:
• T must arouse Ss’ interest from the beginning of the lesson.
• Teacher gives meaning of new words in the passage.
• Teacher instructs Ss on how to take note and listen for specific information.

of famous football player in
textbook and give the name
of these football player.
- Listen and give remarks.
