Street, Cau Giay District, Ha Noi

Open : everyday except for
Monday and Public holoday.

Entrance fee : 25.000 dong

50.000 dong.
The largest and the most interesting museum in
Ha Noi and Viet Nam

Founded in 1997.

A research centre and public
museum.

Exhibit ethnic groups of VN.

Designed by the architect Hà Đức
Lịnh- a Tay people and a French
Architect Véronique Dollfus…


2. Characteristics :

Designed in the shape of Đong Son Drum.

A valuable centre for the exhibition and preservation of cultural
heritages of 54 ethnic groups in Viet Nam.

Collected 15.000 artifacts, 2,190 slides, 42,000 photographs, 237
audiotapes, 373 videotapes and 25 CD-ROMS.
Divided into 2 parts :

Indoor exhibition : 2,480m2 in
width,include :

Exhibition building.

Office, research centre.

Library, storage.

Technical lab.

Auditorium.

Outdoor exhibition :
build different types of traditional houses in all
parts of VN :

Gia-rai burial house.


Stilt house of E-de people.

Traditionally-shaped Viet house.
