designers, that are Norman Hartnell and Hardy Amies.

Hartnell designed the dress for her when she came to the throne (6/1953) and the her wedding
day(11/1947). Beside, he created lots of other outfits that The Queen wore on fomal occasions.

Hardy Amies started designing for the Queen in the early 1950s and continued until a year before

his death in 2003. He created many everyday outfits for the Queen.
