because they wanted to leave home after breakfast. They made the journey by car. They reached
the seaside at noon. They spent many hours on the beach. They enjoyed making castles and
channels in the sand. People said they ought to spend at least a few weeks at the seaside. If they
could stay longer, so much the better.
