THE SEASON YOU LIKE BEST
There are four seasons in a year, such as Spring,Summer,Autumn and
Winter in North of Vietnam. In Spring ,it’s very warm. In Summer, it’s hot. In
Autumn, it’s cool. In winter, it’s cold .But there are two seasons in the south of
vietnam, they are the rainy season and the dry season.In the dry season it doesn’t
rain.The sun shines everyday.It’s often very hot in this season. In the rainy season
it rains a lots, the sky is dark, the roads muddy and slipery but my favourite season
is Spring because it’s warm and Spring is the most beautiful season in a year .In
Spring,trees are green and flowers are growing everywhere. Spring is the time for
family reunion,and tet holiday falls on spring. In tet holiday, I usually go to the
countryside to visit my family and wear new clothes. We get / receive lucky money,
play card,eat and drink a lot .In Sping I feel very happy ,comfortable and relax .

YOUR TYPICAL DAY,YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES,YOUR
DAILY ROUTINES/YOUR ROUTINE DAY
Every moring, I get up at 6 o’clock. I do morning exercice for 10 minute after I
have a bath and have breafast .I get dressed and go to school ( work) . It about 2
kilometres from my house to my school (work) . It takes me 15 minutes to get to
school ( work) by bike ( motor-bike) . My school (work) starts at 7.00 a.m and
finishes at 11.00 a.m. After school I have lunch at 11.30 a.m in a canteen (at home)

and then I take a rest about 30 minutes . In the afternoon, I’m often very busy
because I have to do my homework, clean the house, iron the clothes ( At 1.00p.m
I work again and finish at 5.00 p.m .I come back home ). After that I have dinner at
5.30 p.m . In the evening,I sometimes go out with my friends but I usually stay at
home and watch T.V ,I go to bed at 10.30 p.m. After day,I feel tired but it’s very
happy and more comfortable.

TALKING ABOUT YOUR BEST FRIEND
In life,I’ve got many friends in my neighbour and my work and. All of them are
friendly but Lan is my best friend,I met her ten years ago when we studied at the
same high school, she is twenty years old , she is living in Vinh Long,she has got
medium body .she is thin and tall, she’s got long dark straigh hair, round and black
eyes, she’s got a straight nose and has a nice smile ,her face is oval. She is very
helpful when I have got difficulties in my life.In free time.I usually go for a walk with
her,or we make cake and go shopping.I think our friendship is very important in our

life because it helps us in our study and in works.

TALKING ABOUT YOUR STUDY OF ENGLISH
English is an international language , it is spoken all over the world .I study
English for many reasons . First, I like English very much .Second ,English is one
of my subject, I need English for my future job ,too. English isn’t easy but It’s
interesting . My English is now not very good , I am studying at foreign centre now.I
have studied English for 2 years . I’m studying Streamline book .There are four
skills ,such as : listening, speaking, reading and writing. Listening is the most
difficult because I’m not enough words .I study English because it’s necessary to
get for a good job . To improve my English ,I listen to the cassette player, repeat
after them, watch films on TV, read English grammar books and.etc I usually
learn English two hours a day at night . In class I listen carefully my teacher and at
home I do my homework. If I pass the exam,I will continue to study English.

My name is… I am …. years old .I was born in Vinh Long, it’s my hometown .I
have lived here for twenty year.It’s surrounding town are can tho, tien giang,ben
tre It’s the south of viet nam it lics on the mekong riven delta it is thirty kilometres
to the nearest city.There are any interesting place to visit in my hometown they are
truong an tourit,an binh island,My thuan bridge I can recommend to tourist
zone,an binh is land.when a tourist comes to my town because there are relax,eats
and slup with home The people are simple,friendly and hard wosking.My home
town is famous for rice,fruit,my thuan bridge,fish people make their living by
growing rice,vegetable and fruit.In my home town is very hot in the summer and it
rains a lot of in the rainy season.I love my home town very much because I was
born and grow up there i try my best to study well to help and build my hometown

YOUR HOLIDAY
There are many interesting places to visit in my counntry such as :
DaLat,Nha Trang,Vung Tau,Ha Tien,Hue Summer is the best time for holiday in
my country because we don’t go to school in summer .I often go on holiday every
summer. My last summer holiday I went to Da Lat with my classmates (friends).I go
there by coach,it took me six hours . I stayed in a big hotel near Dalat market. I
visited many interesting places such as Mong Mo hill, love valley , Than Tho lake
Truc Lam pagoda, I saw with my eyes lots of beautiful places and lost of big and
strange animals.I bought lots of souvernirs for my family and my friends.I met many
foreigners tourists from many different countries. I took many photos and I used
two rolls of film. the weather was hard cold but I felt very comfortable and relax .
The people there were very nice,friendly and honest. I have stayed for five days.
After holiday,I felt very happy and comfortable to begin my work after I worked
hard. I will come back there next year .

MY FAMILY
My family is small . There are only four members in my family such as my
father,my mother,my sister and I .My father is a teacher.He is forty-five years
old.My mother is a housewife . She is five younger than my father.My sister goes
to Can Tho university, she is twenty two years old.I am two yerars younger than my
sister. Everyone in my family is good and happy in our house . It is large . There
are five rooms and has a small garden with some beautiful flowers My mother
grow flowers and vege tables in the garden.In the evening weusually gather in
living room,talking or watching television .My parents love my sister and me very
much . They buy many things for us. Sometimes , they help us in our study and
they also tell us many interesting stoires . I love my family very much.

NATIVE TOWN/NATIVE VILLAGE
/NATIVECOUNTRY/HOMELAND
I was born and grew up in Toung Loc village,Tam Binh district,Vinh Long province
so it is my home land.Many years ago,my village was very poor.My village had to work
hard in the field all day and could have just enough money to pay for the things that they
need.Our lives were simple and we were in need of many things. Many people had to live
in thatched houses ( houses made of straw and mud) and few families had a radio or a
TV set. Now, the lifestyle of my village is changing, people live in brick houses .In the
evening, they can listen to the news on the radio or watch TV for entertainment,
sometimes they go to town on their motorbikes to do some shopping or to visit theirs
friends .The villagers grow cash crops and speciality fruit trees such as orange trees,
grape fruit trees, Mangosteens trees, Durians trees………
Our lives have changed a lot thanks to the economic reforms of vietnamese
grovernment.
