As you know, every 2 years since 2005, English Storm has been hold by Board of
Youth Communist Union to support English studying movement of all HUPs
students.And This 2012 -2013 terms we have a lot of eager k67 students . But it’s

time for some new winds. This competition is still an english contest but, it is
more interactive and player has to show their best english skills.
It’s awesome to see so many people being here tonight and hopefully you will

There are 10 songs for 3 teams to listen and guess their names
Each track lasts 30s and players can ring the bell at any time for being answered
Each right answer gives 10 points and 0 with wrong one
Players may answer many times during a song.

Its just a relaxible game. But i think it’s time for bigger challenge
Well we won’t make you wait any longer, as our contest will start right away
with the first game called : Speed up. So, do you know how to play this first
game, Tram?
Sure I do, this game is quite simple. All 3 teams and audiences, please listen
carefully to the rule:
There are 6 questions about social knowledge, each question
has four clues that appear after every 10s.
For each question, teams have to ring the bell for being answered

and each team with at most 2 times.
The right answer after the first clue gives 30 points and it will
be reduced by 10 after each clue.

The next game is called ““Just a minute””. Unlike the first game, this time
the 3 teams will fight face-to-face in order to gain points. And let me tell you:
This will be a very dangerous yet interesting challenge.
But before we begin, I want to have a short interview with our 3 young and pretty
girls over there: team LOL
LOL, I know that you all are Freshmen, while your 2 opponents here are 4

JUST AMINUTE
• The object of the game is for competitors to talk for sixty seconds on a
given subject, "without repetition, hesitation or deviation"
• “Repetition" means the repetition of any word or phrase
• "Hesitation" is watched very strictly: a momentary pause before
resumption of the subject can give rise to a successful challenge
• "Deviation" means deviating from the subject, but has also been
interpreted as "deviating from the English language as we know it",
• You can challenge your opponent by pressing the ring and show your
reason(Repetition/hesitation/deviation)
• After Successful challenge, you ‘ll get 10 p and you have priority to
talk
• After Unsucessful challenge,You ‘ll lose 10 p
• If your team is the Last team to talk, you get 20 p
• REPETITION: EXCEPT he/ she/they/it/ is/to
• HESITATION 1s For example :Uhm, ah oh…. Or stop speaking for 1
second

Each team receive a pack of 9 pictures and have to choose at least 6 to
build a story based on those pictures. After 15 minutes of thought, teams present

their stories within 3 minutes then, give your message.You can also act if you
want. Team with the highest score after 3rd round will play first. At the end of
