Lesson 2 : A – Time for TV ( 2-3 )
I. Aim
1. Knowledge
The students practice the dialogue in order to review the structure “ Would you
like to ………?” and make up a similar dialogue. Then, read about TV in Viet Nam.
2. Skill: Practice speaking and reading skill.

1. Warm up:
- Greetings .
- Have Ss play a game: matching
- Teacher reads in Vietnamese, Ss slap
in English.
- Greetings.
- Play a game.
Each one come to the board to
match
Clap the hands.

- Listen.
- Look at the books and
listen to the teacher.
- Listen and write down.
Read new words in chorus and
individually, guess the meanings,
- State the group which wins the game.
- Remark and lead in new lesson.

2. Presentation: A2. Listen and read
- Introduce the situation of the lesson .
- Ask Ss to look at the books and listen to
the teacher.
- Explain some new words:

3. Practice:
- Ask Ss to look at the advertisements,
make up similar dialogues.

- Ask Ss to look at the pictures and say about
then copy down.
- Work in pairs reading the
dialogue.
