1 In about 140 words, write about possible measures that should
be taken to protect our natural environment.
Nowadays, some species are in danger of extinction and I think we should join
hands to protect them. Firstly, I think we shouldn't use herbicides and pesticides
because they are in fact hazardous pollutants that have bad effects on wildlife.
Some animals can be harmed if they eat these pollutants. Secondly, I suppose the
government should introduce laws to prohibit the killing of endangered animals
and the destruction of the environment where the endangered species live. Thirdly,

we should tell our friends, relatives or families not to purchase products made from
body parts of endangered species. We should avoid supporting the market in illegal
wildlife including: tortoise shell, ivory, coral, ect. Finally, we should protect
wildlife habitat because the greatest threat that faces many species is the
widespread destruction of habitat. All in all, endangered species should be
protected so that the Earth will be a happy planet for us to live on.

The person who has great influence on my life is my mother. She is 42 years
old. She is not beautiful but she is a wonderful woman after all. My mother

She is always kind to all of us. She never gets angry with anyone. She is a
simple person so she does not like wearing expensive clothes or jewels.

Over the last two decades, information technology has been responsible for

is that information technology has killed the greeting cards because we are now
using an e-card or email to greet others. The next change I want to mention is
that teenagers now tend to use the internet to prepare an online dating with
strangers they have never met yet. The way of sharing information is also
changed. Social network like internet or Smartphone now allow us to share
information anytime and anywhere. Then information technology also change
the way we relax. These days, people often spend their free time watching TV,

connecting Facebook or playing video games . More importantly, the way we

The most memorable experience in my life happened three years ago but now I
could recall this event very clearly. On the final day of my 9-grade years at
secondary school, my father gave me VND 200 for the good grades I had scored in

a meal. At the restaurant, I asked my friends to order as much as they liked. The

Computer plays an important part in our life. However, while bringing certain
advantages, this high-tech device has its own limitations. First of all, computer is a
useful tool and an intelligent device in every aspect of life. What’s more, new
constructive materials, new robots, and new fuels are all made with the help of
information technology. That is to say computer has made our life become modern,
more convenient and civilized. However, a computer also has its own
disadvantages because the users take its advantage for negative purposes. Some
people use computers to do nothing but playing games, chitchat, spam, create dirty
information on the Net. In addition, sitting in front of the screen for long hours can

lead to obesity, backache, and short-sightedness. Besides, people paying too much

English is an international language which plays an important part in many field of
our society and all of us have to learn English for some reasons. The first reason is

all know that English is required in many jobs concerning languages. As it is an
international language native and second language so it is easy for you to
communicate with foreigners if you know English. In brief, people learn English

succeed in modern society.

Health is considered to be the most valuable thing we have and the most
effective way to better one’s health is doing regular exercise. One advantage of
doing exercise is to reduce stress. People who exercise are likely to feel more

chemicals that make the exercisers reduce the worries. Another benefit
exercising brings us is that we will feel more energetic to overcome our daily

Controlling our weight is another value. Fats are burnt during our practicing

My favorite sport is football and I often play it in my free time after school or

I really love teaching children and I would like to become a teacher in the future.
The first reason is that both my father and my mother are teachers. They are my

how to write. I would like to input my knowledge into students’ mind. The third
reason is that teaching is a noble career which is highly respected in our society. A

high-paying job but it depends on the way we think about it.

Some universities require students to take the entrance examination with the
English subject. Other universities do not. Which is better? Use specific reasons

In my opinion, it is better if universities in VN require students to take the entrance
examination with the English subject because E is an international language which
is very useful in many fields. First of all, university students are the ones who have
many good opportunities to get good jobs which often enquire E knowledge. E is
the main language used in business, international contracts, and so on. Therefore,
knowing E is the key to success of many students in the future. What's more, there
are over 700 million people speak E as their native or second language so students
have to know E to communicate with foreigners to overcome all communication
barrier and get success. Additionally, knowing E gives students chances to get
access to knowledge like the Internet because the incredible amount of information
on the Internet is in E. And searching Internet is a major skill for students to enrich
their knowledge. To summarize, it is necessary for universities to require E as a
major subject in the entrance examination due to the reasons i have mentioned

should be banned. The first reason to support this ban is Facebook has many

them. This is the main reason why students nowadays usually get bad grades in
tests. The second reason is that Facebook is very addictive. Some people check
Facebook all the time without working, exercising, playing sports, ect. They even
do not talk to their friends although they are very close. Consequently, they lose
both health and many relations. Finally, using Facebook regularly will make you
inactive. When you go with a group of friends, they will feel extremely exhausted
as you always look at your phone to check Facebook. You will be lazy of joining

As we see, The public transportation brings us a number of benefits in term of
individual as well as society. First of all, That many people travel by public
vehicles helps reduce the environment pollution. That's because the amount of fuel
( which turns into exhaust after that) used to carry the number of people in a bus is
less than that of many individual vehicles . Moreover, Traffic jam will no longer be
our long- lasting obsession if most everybody chooses public vehicles as daily
means of transportation. Congestion only turns up when so many people's own

money by using buses to travel or electric trains to commute .The tickets of public

Nowadays, almost all of people experience love and then reach marriage.
However, I partly agree with the idea that marriage should be based on love
because only love is not enough. Here the following reasons are. First, there is no
denial that love makes people happy in life and helps them overcome severe
difficulties and build a warm family. It is love that joins a man and a woman
together. When these above supposed things become true, I call it true love, in
other words, forgiveness and sacrifice contribute to true love. Moreover, future
home’s finance also affects the family happiness. For example, your child can’t

I am usually in habit of reading books. Addition to books that offer me much
useful information, I also like comic book. I am in fond of it for some following
reasons. To begin with, Comic books bring me a great deal of relaxation. One of
them is Doremon story, which tells many funny short stories about 2 main
characters, Doremon and Nobita, Who are close friends. The author of that comic
creates so many amusing situations among characters that I can’t help laughing.
It’s actually a hard-to-put-down book. It attracts not only children but also adults
as me. Another good point of it I want to mention about is creative imagination. I
mean children need to have imaginative mindset, which helps them be more active
in life. By and large, comic book is worth reading after hard work. It is nice for
everyone.

While living away from home in an apartment for a flat to study at a university,

Coming to Vietnam, foreign visitors can’t forget the ancient town of Hoi An,

Asia in the 16th century. Hoi An has a distinct Chinese atmosphere with low, tile-

Women in modern society are still limited in some roles and encounter many

first benefit of being full-time mothers is that their children will be well taken care

children and families. Having chances to raise their children to masters is the
second main reason why married women shouldn’t go to work. When women
aren’t under a lot of working pressure, they will spend time staying with her
children to teach them the bad and the good. Their children will feel comfortable
and not lonely. The third reason of mine is that the risk of both parents dying and
leaving children orphaned is reduced. Today there are many accidents outside so I
think one of parents should stay at home to be safe if bad things happen. In

I often dream of a modern and comfortable house by the sea. There will be a
